master sword master fencer master brawler and tk xxx3 atm great for pve head hit's 3 rock lunge 2 is good for when those elders start to run off and the defence from fencer/tk is great alose fencer and master brawler can be very useful in pvp. master brawler means i can use and dot LVA's i loot great intimidate 2 equip[e mind posion lva then polarm lunge2 until the posion sticks then head hit 3's all the way home

MAster Fencer / Master MArksman / master Rifleman / Medic 0100 here
I wouldn't go for melee only because of the lack of ranged mitigation, so that kind of template was off for me.
master marksman/master rifleman with speed and accuracy tapes - deal Acid AP2, Energy AP3, Cold and heat AP0, Stun AP? get conceal shot to start a target with low aggro risks, defenses are decent as well, and cheap to hit the speed cap, I fire every second with my 8.0 541 dam T21, area shot for 3k/3.6k damage
I was in Tusken fort yesterday, and during 1 hour and half, I simply outdamaged EVERYONE in the fort, and it was a peak hour, then I had to move do something else.
I can take a warlord within a few seconds, WITHOUT getting hit at all.
was unarmored, using my dxr6b rifle, and eating warlords faster than anyone else (seen some master commandos, master pikes and other swordsmen there)
master fencer gives +dodge bonus, Mitigation 3 for melee attacks, and allows to cap the ranged/melee defenses simply using melee bio enhanced clothes (can be found everywhere for cheap), as well as posture down, and state attacks. Rifles deal the largest amount of damage in the game, if you manage to find good enough rifles (be prepared to spend ALOT of money in weapons, krayt tissues etc...) and believe me, Commando don't deal anything, 12K area damage is nice, but this is a max amount, wich can be dealt like every 6, 7 or 8 seconds, with rifles you deal 3k average EVERY SECOND (oh btw speed tapes are hella expensive).
For NS elders, I can either tank with CoB/Stims B, or Tank/damage with T21/stims B, but I have some accuracy tapes.
so I'd say rifles as I tried All combat pros except BH and Pikes (TKM, Fencer, Swordsman, Pistoleer, Carbineer, Rifleman, Smuggler, Commando, along with masters Brawler or Marksman), but you'll have to spend major $$$ to actually PvE efficiently, Rifles, and Speed/accuracy tapes.
Having Ranged and Melee Mitigation is very cool too, wouldn't PvE or PvP without Both.

PVPguy = masterfencer - doc 4/4/4/0 - tka 0/0/0/3
PVEguy = master sword - master doc (changing to master rifle soon for ap3) i have been able to solo any mob with this guy)
and jedi ant bad for PVE

And with the 36% stun comp + 48% stun PSG's, its not so hot for pvp eather...
