So far I'm seeing alot of theories and "how it shoud be" responses but no, "this is how I did it yesterday" posts. I've never seen anyone other than a swordsman or rifleman (conceal shot) solo an AT-ST. Even with energy resist armor a headshot from one of those HURTS!
Then again...why are we able to solo AT-ST's at all? I'm really looking forward to the combat revamp when god status is taken awaywhen usingbuffs and armor.

Well this is easy just run up to them at start doing mind hit 3 on them and in about 1 to 2 min they are dead. O wait fencer nm but with swordsman easy.

Because the developers, while being amazingly smart people, totally lack common sense. It is very rare people hold bothing, common sense, and, amazing intelligence.
As for it being impossible, excuse me, but, no. How? Read on.
My template is, Master Fencer, 4/0/0/3 Teras Kasi Artist, 4/0/4/0 Doctor. Why do I share my template so easily? I tell my people this everyday, and I tell it to you as well. It doesn't matter what your skills are, their is no 'Master Skill' build, instead, its simply you, taking your skills, and -making- them the best. Thats what I've tried to do with my template, make it the best, and I've gone pretty far in doing so. Far as I know, I have some of, if not, best fencer weaponary on Starsider, I have pretty damn good SEAs to support my profession, and to top it all off, I know my profession, like the back of my hand.
I wear Boooozark's Stun Composite Armor, once sliced, all my items are roughly 85% Base Resist, 79% Electicity, and 41% Stun.
Doctor buffs are +2700 (Yes, 2700, its called Janta Blood Ladies and Gentleman.) And mind buffs are 117% Dancer, and 125% Musician, giving me plenty of mind. Plus I powerboost, giving me an additional +550 Health, Action, and Mind.
Mixed with, Two Shots of Brandy(Three if you need to prep for this so much you want the third shot in there), Synthsteak, Canape and Pikatta Pie. I save the rest of my stomach for eating actual synthsteak incase my original runs out. Alot of people ask me what SEAs I have, I have alot, the ones that are a serious concern here would be the +10 Injury Treatment Speed I have. That shaves 1 second off my heal time, making my healing time as a 4040 Doctor, 3 seconds.
Coupled with a COB macro, and a 227-398 Gafferdi Baton to make it hurt.
Now, At-St's and turrets, do miss. So do Super Battle droids, Nightsisters, Dark Jedi Knights(NPCs), everything misses.
Now, At-St's and Turrets do not show up in the combat spam. You'll notice sometimes, they'll shoot you, and nothing happens. No stats of yours move, nothing, no combat spam is shown in your combat log. But, yet, the At-St animation occurs, and their is a delay until it attacks next.
That my friends, is an attack. Why isn't it recorded in the combat log? I don't know. However, back near December of last year, something on Starsider occured called the "Trinity City Massacre". What the Imperials did, was basically, con one of the members of the Trinity Republic's PA Membership, into giving them zoning rights. So, about 200 Imperials, took over the city, destroyed the two rebel bases, and smacked down 3 Imperial bases of their own. So, every rebel that was someone, lended a hand.
Why do I bring this up? Because, very simply, them placing those bases enabled me to get extensive practice tanking At-St's, turrets, and what not. And this is a genuine effect I have noticed. Do they have 100% accuracy? No. Do they miss ever? Yes, occasionally they do miss. But do they miss to the point where you can totally rely on not getting hit? Negative, its impossible, while they do miss, they hit often enough, probably 6 out of every 7 shots. Maybe more, 9 out of every 10.
And thats the end of that. Don't believe me? Come to Starsider one time and I'll give you a demonstration if I'm not otherwise indetained. Its possible, and theirs no reason someone else can't do it as well.

Last night I went back, CoB running, Gaffi in hand (I wont say the stats because they aren't uber like everyone elses) both pets by my side. Again, we were cut down by its blaster fire before we reached it, but an unusual thing happened. Maybe the At-St has a knockdown attack, or something similiar, because while running to the at-st, it fired multiple shotsat my chest knocking me down. I was not dizzy, so I stood up only to be knocked down again a few seconds later(and dizzied by a nearby stormtrooper) to never rise again. Is this a bug, or have they gotten MORE uber. And to the people that say they don't miss, they do, but don't count on it.

Using Fencer I have never been able to take down an AT-ST as of yet but that could possibly be to me not having medic. I can take one down quite easily using swordsman though, I don't even need to heal. I got 86-90% base resist composite armor though and believe me, that helps.. ALOT!

Thank you KraytDragonMan, I think you were one of the only ones to actaully answer my question. I said with fencer, and everyone got sidetracked on the resists vs. commando...

Nah, can't kill them. They're 100% resistant to all fencer damage types - and, if you can't beat them, join them. 
Seriously you can probably tank one quite well, but dealing the damage you need to deal would be difficult, although I'm guess not at all impossible. They have similar HAM to a NS protector with higher damage attacks and better armor rating. So, as long as you are using your foods - I suggest starting with synthsteak, pikatta, and a pair of brandies. When the synthsteak wears eat exo protein wafers to keep the damage it does to youdown. They're machines so no need to waste time withstates or dots, just plug away with your best gaffi. I'd guess it'd take 20 mins or so if you are soloing - not exactly ideal when you could have a riflemen or swordsmen take one out in about 30 seconds, but possible.
Doh, giving tips to a rebel on how to kill me...what's the world coming to.

Powerboost is a TK skill. More than likely you've got other toughness and defenses from other professions. This is the Fencer forums.

Nope,
Toughness Mods only count towards the weapon you have equiped, and what defenses count against an At-St? They don't try and stun you, or knock you down, or dizzy or intimidate. And even if they did, all those defenses are in the x/3/x/x tree of TKA, which I don't have.

Because 15% of PvP is the template, alot more, is knownledge about it, equipment, etc etc. I'm not Master Brawler, so I actually have less 1h toughness then most. More so, its not even a solo template. I'm a group support role in PvP.
We have 250 Skill points, and while Fencer is the only weapon I hold, I realize the benifit of getting an extra +550 HAM from powerboost, and force of will has its uses as well.

The thing is you can master 3 classes at once. I'm willing to bet everyone here uses those extra points. Are we going to say don't post unless your ONLY a fencer?

Unless their Master Defender, since Jedi and Lightsaber toughness stack, then they have 80% Armor

heh, true......but how many Jedi actually took Defender (a handful). But if they do have defender, no your not going to beat them unless they arereally bad at PvP or the Fencer is the best in PvP(that is the one template that actually can beat down mele stackers). However, if you have another person helping, that Jedi can not run from you when they are about to die....keep that in mind.
