i've said this elsewhere, so i'll be brief here: fencer advanced bleed DOT does less total damage than an improved body hit does
and also, torso shot does more total damage than a fencer's bleed, and a plasma flamer DOT ticks for more damage than advanced bleed too
i haven't said this, but the idea of the cripples and the lunges is that a fencer can keep his opponent at outside attack range (or a ranged opponent close) while the bleed slowly ticks down their health. Try lunge, move in, stick a few bleeds (adv bleed stacks, but i like the idea of a high tickshort duration bleed and a lowertick long duration bleed), cripple, run away...won't work of course because while you're inside, your opponent will hit you with a headhit or impale that does more damage to you than your bleeds will to them, and they won't have to wait 40 seconds for all the damage, they get it all right now.
