"The purpose of attacks like Scatter Hit were relevant back when Action and Mind were seen as contributing stats which were used and depleted to use specials, perform skills, and the like. However, as we all know, HAM is simply just three health bars. You don't think of mind as your character's mental capacity; you think of it as your "blue health".

The entire system was flawed from the beginning. This is why Scatter is close to useless. It would have been neat had it let you combine damaging the opponent with limiting their capacity to perform special skills of their own through depleting the remaining two pools. As we all know, this is not the case."

As fencers, wegenerally have a hard time hitting the blue bars for any substantial damage...during large raids, the blue bar is the primary target for the highest damage dealers (see eyeshot, CM bullpoop and riflemen). Scatter gives a fairly decent damage on mind and ignores armor and special defenses (people like me in 85% comp with stun layers who are TKM/blademaster/master brawler/medic types who are hard as hell to hit). If someone has a great comp helm, my TKM headhit actually does less damage than my scatter given the type of damage that deals.

Our biggest damage dealt is on health. Ever duel a good pvper withdoctor? Takes a bit and it is funny if we can kill them on health, but it isn't always possible. Lol one of the main reason I bleed individuals and putthe max number ofconditions on them in one on one is to force them to consider using doctor state removal/firstaid/stims just to force them to use up their mind bar (on the off day when my warcry2 timing isn't perfect).

Do you PVP with regularity? I think some of us are missing the boat here...probablyin a manner similarto the people that lay at my feet in a pile every time I log on.
