Played around a bit more with the templatethe othernight. I have tons of pistol XP and I really hate to lose that. So I cooked this up...


Master Brawler

Master Fencer

TKA 4-4-1-1

Smuggler 0-0-4-0

Medic 0-0-1-0


Going the Smuggler (Rogue)route lets me keep the pistol (along with some pretty sweet shots), plus I get feign. The TKA branches give me meditate, some nice hits, and some nice stat buffs.

I'm staying with my Master fencer/brawler combo but I might drop the TKA stuff for rogue.

i think sadly i will drop it down to just pistols in the marksman range and pick up more medic and doc stuff . gonna wait and see how bad it is .

I would still think it would be a very good combo to have especially if they change all the defensive mods and they way they stack. If you still want to keep a melee profession after the changes I would still do Master Fencer/Pistoleer/Brawler and Dirty Fighting III.


If they change the stacking of all of the defensive mods you won't want to get kited very long so Low Blow would work well to help get you intothe 20m range or the melee range if you don't have Master Brawlerplus you still have some decent Dodge/Accuracy with your pistol equipped while moving around.


In a way it will actually become more of an important combo than it was before if you want to keep fencer or any melee profession.


Personally, I'm hopeful that the only mod they will keep from stacking is the Dodge and weapons specific modifiers but....
