Interesting. According to SWG Resource Center ( www.swgcenter.com ) as linked earlier in this thread, Fencer special attacks take more mind to use than the other HAM bars.

Comparing what it says the HAM costs are for Hit1 for thethree armedmelee types:

One-handed Hit1 HAM costs: Health 0.5 Action 0.5 Mind 0.625

Two-handed Hit1 HAM costs: Health 0.5 Action 1 Mind 0.5

Polearm Hit1 HAM costs: Health 1 Action 0.5 Mind 0.5

I wonder if this is true. I'm not sure, as I don't know where SWG Center got their numbers from. If these numbers are true, fencers get a slight advantage in total HAM costs as our mind cost is 0.625 instead of 1. However, mind damage cannot be healed by anyone, so this is also a disadvantage. I have been having trouble with my mind pool going down very quickly when doing specials, so I may try raising my mind substats accordingly.

Unfortunately, as a Twi'lek with 600 minimum quickness, it appears that two-handed may have been more up my alley than one-handed in a strictly min-max sort of way. But I like my fencing swords, and I've already done a lot of work with fencing, so I'll stick with it.

Yes, those are the numbers I figured on as far as multipliers. Interesting to note that the costs are always higher on mind from multipliers but that action has the highest cost from the weapons. Don't know if that's a good thing but i suppose it strikes a nice balance.

Rock:

1. That's not where I got my information from. I wasn't aware of that site until you posted it. I habitually log and parse all my data, and calculated the info from there. Nice to know there is a site like that though.

2. I'm not a "he".

I just checked out the site. Nicely arranged, but not all of their data isaccurate. They list /melee1hbodyhit3 and /melee1hhit3 as both doing the same damage, and that simply isn't true. Hit3 doessignificantly more damage than BodyHit3. Didn't check the rest once I found that.
