throw poison, throw disease, then you can dogde all the scatter hits if you like 
On a more serious note - those are good defenses but like some old dead guy said for every offense there is a counter. So find a combo you like. For me Fencer doge and pikatta pie is fun

hells yeah , throwing poisons is fun 
, -1177 / -1177 looks sooo nice, gonna get some aoe's made today or something
my group likes me alot too, nice poisons plus i try to keep em healed
