As a pistoleer if i were to take the Dodge tree for fencer would the dodge benefits from that add to the dodge from pistoleer. If so what is the max it can be at.
Also do i need to be wielding either a Pistol or 1h wpn for the dodge to work?
Thanks in advance

I'm not so sure about the 150 with attachments. I believe that it is hard capped at 125 with or without attachments. The only way to raise it above 125 is to use Dodge foods. The same goes for melee def, ranged def, counterattack and block.

Are you sure that you need to have a pistol equipped to use dodge? I use a flamethrower sometimes and it seems that dodge still works. I also eat dodge foods.
Best defense: dont get hit!

Everyone has a chance to dodge, it's just that without the skill mods gained from pistoleer and/or fencer, the chance is very small. So, you'll dodge, just not as much as a Master Pistoleer or Master Fencer should./

Who are you to say? I allreday read that post, so I'm asking again. Maybe someone else's opinion would be nice. So until you get your hat that says, "official question answerer for the devs and sony" .....drop the attitude.

Don't forget that you can have an extra 25 over the cap with AA's.

ok first off, a hard cap in SWG is when the mod "+" number will not go any higher. (this is not anywhere in SWG) a soft cap is when you can continuously make the mod number go higher however at a certain point it will not enhance your skills any further. so saying its a hard cap is wrong.
+125 dodge is the most you can get from learning skills (ie master fencer and 1 skill from the pistoleer dodge line)
then you can further enhance that by using dodge specific foods.
then you can further enhance THAT by using a CoB macro, which makes it more likely you will +dodge+, +counterattack+ etc etc.
however, no amount of SEA's or CA's can stack on top of that (like melee and ranged defense)
