how often do you get the KD of with pistol whip???

Probably 80% of the time as long as I wait the 30 seconds.

wow, that's like four times the rate I get and I've been master pistoleer since August. Don't count your success rate against low level targets, as that is meaningless. I simply can't believe you are knocking down high level targets, especially master level players 80% of the time. PMD1 had its testicles removed in September, so it doesn't work like that anymore.

I don't PvP except for the occasional time somebody TEF ganks me and that's not very often. Mostly I kill stormtroopers and darktroopers and other low-mid level Imp NPCs. Since I took up fencer a couple days ago it's mainly used on low-mid level creatures and I probably land it 95%+ on them.

Don't know if it matters, but when I'm fighting mid-high level mobs I always send my pet(s) in to get agro then I come in after for the KD, preferably after one of my pets hits with a dizzy. Then it's game over for the NPC cause they take a long time to get up while dizzy.

Sure, dizzy is acceptable in pvp, if you're a coward anyway.

...The makes a standing person kneel, a kneeeling person sit, or a sitting person prone...

Am I understanding correctly that the "dizzy" + "lunge" attack does not work on creatures?

Thanks!

Correct, at least the thousands of times I've done it, hasn't worked.

dizzy + knockdown does not work on creatures but knockdown + warcry does...

By "knockdown" you mean "Lunge", or are you talking about the KO that comes with Master Brawler?

When im knocking tuskens down im usually doing the blind, dizzy 2 then the lunge 1 and poof iits sort of rare but they do change their posture and then eventually get knocked down nice tool. Cant wait to get lunge 2

well, i'm a Master Rifleman/Master Fencer.

i do the standard dizzy2/Lunge1 posture down...

as soon as I see my opponent take a knee, i switch to my trusty jawa rifle and open up with Flushingshot2 (good dmg, AE, stun effect, and forces posture UP - which very few templates have defense to).

if I can get a dizzy/lunge1 to stick (and i usually do except against someone with TKM/Fencer/pistol stacks), then this is a sure-fire KD. hmm. maybe i should make a macro that says "Dodge This..." as i switch to my rifle for flushing2. lol

maybe not.

Well I'm a master brawler, master fencer, and 1/2/2/3 pistoleer and I have no problems soloing nightsisters or ancient bull rancors. I usually just through in two pistol bleeds, and the two fence bleeds and that pretty much makes it real easy. Also, warcry is very effective if you can I would suggest getting enhanced clothes with + warcry/ intimidation

Now in pvp I always go for the dizzy first then hit them with the lunge 2 and if they go down I just one hand hit 3 the rest of the way.

Knockdown (Lunge2) worksfine on any creature or humanoid. The creatures do still get their applicable Defense vs. Knockdown mods, but it works.

Posture Change (Lunge1) DOES work against creatures. The problem is that any creature with more than 2 legs, or no legs at all, get huge Defense vs. Posture Change mods. So you are extremely unlikely to P.C. a creature with like 4 legs. Most creaures fall into this category, so it's easy to see why people make general statements about all creatures being "immune" to P.C's. However, there are some creaures that only have 2 legs and will go down just as easy as any humanoid.
