Yes, the vibromotor needed to make the new vk comes from the cave outside the nisghtsister stronghold, dropped by Akzvah Minh. She is wicked tough, and is rumored to only spawn once per day. And did I mention that she summons nightsisters when she is attacked.

I have heard about the new VKs. From what I hear, however, you have to acquire a very rare loot item to be able to make these new vks.

A loot only weapon with crap stats and a damage type carbs already had is hardly anything write home about. The slug thrower was a great weapon to have if you were working up the marksman carbine tree and couldn't get to a laser carb yet, but they messed that all up by making it require novice carbineer to use. In my opinion a well made DXR6 carbine is far better to the slug thrower for a master carbineer any day.

At least the new weapons they're adding for swordsman/rifleman/pistolleer/TKA can all be player made from schematics as well as getting it as a loot drop.
