Some people say that tkm is better than fencer mainly because to be good in fencer you need a super expensive acklay baton.... is this true? it doesnt seem like it to me...

I hardly use my baton, I stick with gaffi for high end PvE, VB for PvP (yes you read right, i use a Vibroblade for PvP
