I fell in love with fencer because I like the speed, the animations, and my toon looks damn good fencing 
. I call it the dance. I don't have the uber stun baton, yet. I don't have any other combat profession, I'm not defensed stacked. But I've found a 2nd profession that I love and more then likely will never give up.

I was Fencer before the holo grind days which I have to admit, I was a victim of. After trying all the other combat professions, Fencer is what I came back to. I love the speed and abilities. Though I wish there was a knockdown. I like being in the thick of combat and Fencer allows me to do that.
Now as a Fencer, I am speeding through the xp to convert at the village. All hail the Fencers.

This character has been a master fencer since January of this year. The form and style suits the character perfectly, and complements Master Doctor well. I have attempted some other combat professions, Rifleman, Carabineer, Swordsman, but they don't suit the character at all, and I have regained master fencer each of those times.

im a fencer because it is a great melee template with fantastic defences and it +pistoleer is basically untouchable (until combat revamp, when thats out ill have to go back to swordsman, lol)and basically, its just a really fun profession

Dodge animations are cool, but I like the pike ones better still. I wish I could be doc/pike/fencer

I like fencing, always have. In college I picked it up and have enjoyed it emensly.
oh and it is "a weapon of a more civilized age."

Why?
I just picked up a plain one-handed sword, way back in June '03, and it went well with rifles.I've dropped rifle a number of times to try other professions, but I'm back at my original fencer/rifleman template. Nice variety, very functional, and I've built a really interesting character around it.

Fencer was the last combat proffesian I did grinding my way to Jedi before I started my crafting proff run. I didn't want to go without some sort of combat skill so I kept it. I actually like it pretty well, only think I had more fun withpikeman but I like the hard to put down feeling you get from fencer and yes the animations ae cool.
I'm now BH3100/MFencer/Medic1130 great Jedi hunter template

Why: Im a fencer in Real Life So I was drawn to this profession, Ive been fencer from launch of SWG. I love the animations for the specials and noone expects the Mon Cal with the vibro blade to do much anyway hehehe. Im also a StarWars fanatic and the fact they actualy took the names of the Jedi Order's lightsaber moves and techniques and made the Fancer moves off of them was very cool

Tadshi Solitry | Lowca | I'm only a novice so far, but I picked up fencer because I was working on master brawler and one-handed was far and away my favorite tree. I like the variety that the different weapons add to game play and, while I love my powerhammer, I'm very happy with the beat down I can hand out with my stun baton. The animations are also great and def. some of the best in the game. Not to mention the defense I get out of being pistols 1 0 4 0 along with the fencer defensive stats. I don't pvp much at all, but I'm having a lot of fun slaughtering Sith.

Slashen Burn TC.
Tried Fencer when TC Bria was opened and really enjoyed it, so now building one the old fashioned way on TC prime, still enjoying it 8)
