Those foods effect "chance to dodge", not "dodge" itself. So I suppose it stacks with pistoleer and fencer dodge.
Thats how I see it anyway.

+125 is the cap, but food still works after that, so even if you are +125 pikatta pie or air cake will still improve your dodge rates.yea its hard to believe but pikatta pie and air cake do not actually increase your dodge skill exactly. the reason this is popular belief is because pikatta pie and air cake work just as good for people without the dodge skill.
it seems like the 2 foods actually affect the miss chance of the opponent and not increase your triggered dodge to trigger more often. its basically the same thing tho....and i could be wrong but many people share this belief....i think. can anyone else explain this better?
and id assume just like all skills, you can have +25 worth of skill tapes which can bring the dodge to 150.
Yes Skill Attachments can take it up by another +25...or so our testing has shown you do actually dodge more with the clothes, and with the food...So get your +125 then get some clothes and food and you'd be a dodgeing fool

Also of note: (and Maxx can either refute or agree with this since he is more "in the know")
I have heard that after the combat upgrade the dodge will be weapon specific. Meaning a total of +195 dodge from pistols/fencer will become +105 when holding a pistol and +95 when holding a 1-hand weapon.
But... right now everything stacks together to be fencer/pistoleer dodge that hard caps at +125

The Chef forum has a Q&A for the devs thread somewhere, where they ask specifically about pie/aircake. Dev reply was that it works of your ranged/melee defense, *not* of your dodge.
I've been a pistoleer for so long though, that I've never actually tried aircake or pie for any other profession that pistoleer/fencer so I can't speak from experience.

I've passed on information stated specifically by developers. Take my word for it or don't but the fact is that what I have stated has been stated specifically by the developers responcible for codeing the combat system and it's caps.

I don't particularly care if you are impressed or not. I would only state something as fact if I had the direct developer comment saying so. In all other cases I state it as an oppinion. In the case of Defensive skill mods what I state is fact because I have the supported words of the developers responcible for it.
