as a MRM/MFencer/TKA 4301/Nov Medic I can honestly tell you that unless you have a stun baton with over 300 min damage or you're fighting a jedi, you will want to use your rifle skills about 95% of the time in big battles. My advice to you for big battles is to get a good dxr6-b (it'll hit harder than a jawa more often than not) and cap your rifle spd with FS skills or SEAs. I love sitting about 30m behind the front lines and sniping all those CM's that everyone hates so much, plus in a big battle you'll pretty much always have a TKM around that you can work with to dizzy/kd for you, and you can sit out at 50m and headshot them to death in no time. With fencer's lack of AP and the popularity of 40% stun armor/PSG's in big fights, you just won't be very effective beyond stating other melee's. Swordsmen and TKM melee stackers will be a LOT more effective than you in the trenches.
This being said, fencer is great because you won't take much damage with your big defenses and dodge mods. If I start getting marked by other melee types and can't get a tank to distract them, I switch to fencer and concentrate mostly on trying to stick blind/dizzy/KD/bleeds, and once I've got them on the ground all stated up I grab a gun and start kiting again. With any luck they'll have doc and try to heal stated, wich can give you plenty of time to blast their mind down.
Use your Rifle.
Flushing2 - Headshot3
and you're fine.
If you do want to use Fencer, pop pikatta pie. Blind - Dizzy - Lunge (Don't be too determined to dizzy/kd them, it's not gonna work everytime) And then just Scatter2. If they don't have medic, onehandhit3, but Scatter will bring their mind down.
Vs Jedis - Use a Gaffi, unless your stun baton does more damage. Vs Players with melee Mit 3 - Use your stun baton with the highest min damage, but if they don't wear armor, use your gaffi if it has the highest min damage of all your weapons.
If they're a player without Ranged Mit, like Fencer/TKM, use your rifles. If you can do more damage with one thing, then do that.
It doesn't have to be visa versa with Fencer, because Rifles does plenty of damage. But if you have a baton with good damage, then you need to consider whether or not it will do more damage since the other player lacks Melee mit 3.
Get at least one 110 mind poison Janta Knife, they aren't rare at all. And they are just a tad convenient.
As Rifleman, you can stack bleeds, which is also, convenient.
In pvp with Rifleman, use a T21 on people with ranged Mit 3. Use a Jawa on people without.
Some Rifleman use a T21 in the beginning, to break the other players PSG if they have one, then switch to their Jawa.
Players who have templates like your's (Master Ranged/Master Melee) will best be handled by using a T21. Try to find a damage sliced one thats 530ish.
When using Fencer, don't STOP MOVING WHEN YOU'RE FIGHTING. Lots of people do this, they KD/dizzy someone, then stand there. The person gets up, lets the melee fighter attacking get into long combat actions, and then run away. Walk in circles when you're right ontop of someone like that. It won't hurt your accuracy that much since you're a Fencer.
I hope that helps, enjoy.
