Thread: Cant beat TKM when master fencer? What am I doing wrong
one advantage fencer has over tka is the status effects. Our dizzies are effective, and a straight tkm doesn't have great defense against it. do the dizzy, lunge combo, but use your warcry and intimidate.
use 2 brandies, and 2 canapes to cover the mind costs, toss in a thaktillo to help your status defenses.
run a cob macro, keeping that center of being on at all times. it's your best friend. really, (especially since we're really limited on high damage output weapons)
depending on his armor, use stun/gaddi/vibro, and use a combo of your spin attack2,lunge,and scatter.
don't get caught up in spamming, it helps to switch up attacks to keep them blind, dizzy, intimidated and bleeding from time to time.
if you still have problems with the kd/dizzy getting you, it doesn't suck to master both tka/fencer. it increases your defenses dramatically, and makes their status effects less likely to take you out.
i'm currently tka/fencer and working towards 2hs as well. the stacking is well worth it for pvp and pve.
