How do I know when I'm hitting the speed cap? I"m using a curved now (I'm not even novice) because the speed/dmg ratio is better than the gaf baton, but as I understand it... eventually I'll the same speed with both weapons???

Newb fencer confused.

the speed bonus is the percent of speed removed from it own speed.For example a 30 one hand speed = a weapon thatdelay is exactly 70% with out the bonus.

What this amounts to is that a 2.1 like a curvedspeed weapon reaches cap at 50. Well A master fencer get +90. This causes speed to become null and void for higher level weapon calculations, itcomes down to, damage,damage type, and HAM. The three chosen weapon each represent one of these catergories. Vibroblade for HAM, Stun Baton for damage type, and Gaffi stick for damage.

I prefer my sliced Rykk Blade at 120-320 2.3spd. As a plan B weapon I use a sliced stun Baton.

Attacking more than once a second, I find damage doesn't matter since I'm not taking out Krayts, and the average person isn't buffed and has 1100 max hp.

My weapon of choice is a sliced vibroblade at 215 attack, 2.6 spd. HAM costs are what I like the most about it at 14/25/14. Gaffi sticks action and health costs are way to high, plus it doesn't have light AP. Not to mention it's ugly as sin.

The AP works, just not worth it, *shrug* most things are weak to stun.

For things who have high kinetic armor, I use my stun baton. But for doing what I do, killing rebels in missions, my VB is all I need. The generals die in seconds anyways.

I'd love to use the baton more, as it looks cool, but it's not really worth it right now.

Hehe, I feel godly. My gaffi stick is 251 max dmg, 2.6 spd, I only have fencer 0-2-0-3 and I can match a teras kasi master in a duel Probably just some fencer rush or something x.x Oh well... I don't really have anything to say. Lol. Bye bye

Seems a lot of people prefer other weapons than the Vibroblade, and yet its the only 1h weapon with armor piercing. Does the AP on it not work, or is everyone just overlooking it?

After new patch, I feel like I attack significantly faster with my vibroblade. My log show I was dishing out special at the duration of 00:00:01 ~ 00:00:02. Not sure what exactly it means yet.

But I think when I fight High HAM mob, I think I would feel more comfortable with vibroblade. However, I will use my gaffi to bleed to start the melee.

I never really found a use for bleed when they die in about 15 seconds anyways.

Well i use a variety of wepons to kill my opponets use a dmg sliced gaffi for bleeds vibro blade for status effects like stun and dizzy maybe the occasional posture down then i switch to the apropreate wepon i almost never use a curved or ryk there dmg to ham is just plain silly
