Thread: Just to keep you informed:
with those ideas in mind, i think it'd be pretty cool to have a dev directly related with each profession. in our case, we would have raph do all the forum reading and bug-gathering, redirect this to someone who could re-code our fencer abilities and such. instead of making the brawler correspondent responsible for redirecting all of melee's ideas, make that correspondent responsible for making sure everything is balanced throughout the generalmelee class.
with this, each profession could ask forwhat they wanted, and if it was reasonable enough (the brawler correspondent's judgement), have something uniquely coded by a specialized fencer coder, one who would better understand fencers' desires and one who would know when something truly is broken). doing this, i believe eachand every classcould trulyhave something completely unique about them.
oh, and this just refers tocombat professions, but i'm sure this system could work with artisans/entertainers as well.
oh wait, forgot one thing, this would cost more money. ok, scratchout what i just said.
am i the only one that thinks the dodge animation is cool and they should keep it
either keep it or make a new quicker one. where you move your head or body to the side or something

This is such an easy fix for our top 3 problems
Furthermore this is an easy programing fix, i don't know much about programing but it would seem to be easy.
I am not even complaining about the fact that EVERY other profession can buy their weapon while we have to do a quest to get ours.
Swordsmen will have to do a mission to get a Sythe and TKA only have one weapon, and pikemen dont have a weapon in the 4th box of brawler.
stun damage, whether from a tangle pistol, jawa ion rifle, or stun baton, won't damage lairs... but neither will headshots... and AP is ignored for lair damage...
I don't see them changing any of this, but I could be wrong. it's not a big issue, and I really can't see the sense in only carrying ONE weapon. it's dangerous out there.
