Thread: Why do I have to carry a Tuskan Wacking Stick?

I always thought that gaffi sticks were supposed to be longer than they are in SWG... but who cares? Continuity takes a back seat to playability in my book.

As for realism... if it were ME carrying that lead pipe with the nail in it... I would be stabbing that through someone's shoe into the ground, pulling out my ridiculously weak pistol and blasting the guy as hecries "Nerf him!" through his loud sobs.

I like the sticks... gives the game an Everquest feel to it... plus I like running around gangsta-style, kneecappin' everyone like clones of Tanya Harding.

a fast vibro with low ham is just as good, or a high damage ryyk with fast speed. i use curved sword usually high damage avg speed and low ham works great. i never use a ganderifi baton usually use a stun baton for anything with comp, i really want one of those new stun batons made from the acklay bones

fencer

\Fen"cer\, n. One who fences; one who teaches or practices the art of fencing with sword or foil.

We should at least have the choice of a rapier/foil type weapon - if we were granted this sort of weapon at a middle-ish level it would be nice. If not, a re-naming of the proffession would make sense...Master Fencers are called blademasters but you hardly ever see them actually using blades - always just a gaffi or a stun baton...

....ohh, and it looks kind of stupid when you do scatter hit 2 with a gaffi considering that you stab a blunt ended object through someone.

would be ok with the right sound

I definetly agree. Sure beating someone to death with a baton or club is pretty amusing, but I want a fast clean cuttin' blade to use on my enemies.A saber or cutlass would be fine with me, but swinging a stupid Gaderiffi baton that tuskens drop at Master seems weak.
