Chaser i'm not trying to attack you and please don't take it that way. I'm just trying to get the feeling back that your even there. Sure information gets redundant but a corrispondants SOLE purpose isn't to just be the news boy running stuff back and forth, don't view it as being a gopher. Start some disscussions, by being corrispondant there is an assumed level of responsibility to the community for your profession that you take up. (again all in my view and not reflecting anyone elses that i'm aware of)

Also let the Dev's know that your getting pressure from your community on any information pertaining to Fencer. The fact that Duel Wielding has in fact been mentioned by a Dev suggests that you could explore in that area with our community. We need a leader and i'd like to see you step back into that role, after all that is what your primary purpose should be, a leader of the Fencer Community.

Perhaps i'm getting off track and this does feel like an attack on you personally and i apologize about that. I understand you have a job and you cannot spend every waking moment on the forums, i don't think anyone expects that. Just understand that the community thirsts for a leader and some creative discussions from that leader.

Listen in the few posts I make during daytime hours im at work, I cannot post to every issue that is made here, and I try not to post on redundant issues that have already been discussed or are already in a sticky thread.

I too am at work. I however, do not work 24 hours a day and make an hour at home forum reading time AFTER work. That hour I also eat dinner, fold a few clothes, watch news.. boring stuff allowing me to play uninterrupted for the most part if I so choose (and often do).

Regardless if its redundant or not, your community is looking for a correspondent that can show their presence a bit more. To someone posting they may not know its a redundant issue or something thats been stickied. Does it truly take that much time to post a few letters and click submit post? I didnt think so.

Again you appear to be taking the defensive when all that is being brought to light is merely constructive criticism.Im not trying to be harsh, not even trying to make personal jabs at you. Im pointing out what Isee (as well as a few others here) and felt that it needed to be addressed. Im listening. Are you?

How do people judge a persons 'tone of type' I hate message boards for that specific reason.

Rizzaka I don't think it's been you attacking FC here, though a few other people have. I personally haven't noticed any problems, and even Caylin came on and said FC has been active on the correspondent forums, so he's doing stuff for us guys give him credit. The DEVs don't let him just run around here with every bit of news that is discussed. He has to wait for their approval before he says something, he's only trying to make it so that when he does post, we all know that it will contain something important in it.

The Smuggler Corr. just came in and said that FC, has in fact been active behind the scenes....let us leave it at that.

On a side note...has anyone actually looked at what the majority of the post hereare? THE SAME THING...OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

What's he supposed to do? Answer the same questions over and over also.

my .07 cents

I don't feel that Fury is doing anything wrong or is unfit for the job. There aren't many game breaking issues to be discussed concerning fencers. With the few important issues that have been made he's done a good job on reporting and discussing them. I constantly check out many of the other forums concerning professions I'm interested in and the Fencer forum seems to be right on par with the majority of other profession forums.

An update every few days on the happenings between himself and the devs is all thats really necessary, and he seems to be that well. Other professions require much more love than fencers, and thats why the correspondants from those professions are required to constantly post updates. I would say he could update us a little more than he has, even if its to say... no update yet. Other than that, he seems to be doing well.

thats exactally what i'm saying... you seemed to have double talked in your post aslo, first you say he does a good job at keeping us updated then you go on to say " would say he could update us a little more than he has, even if its to say... no update yet"

I think many of you are missing the point that we haven't had a thread started by our correspondant in nearly 3 weeks. I'm not saying he's doing a bad job because i am not on the corrispondands board, however he could post here more and show some lovin to the forum in which he is supposed to represent.

Bleh I do that unintentially. My post is he gives us what we need, but he could do more to give us what we want.

Make sense now?
