I'm on my 4th melee profession now, for fun cause I love melee, Fencer and if there's one thing I've learned about melee its that my mind stats MUST be full at all times orI go down quickly, doctor buffed or not. I don't solo much so my personal tactic is that health and action is reduced dramatically in favour of all mind pools and I only hunt bigger things than dwarf nuna's being fully doctor buffed. The new brandy and food is blessing and I keep a mound gold in reserve at all times. If I additionally take the time to get a music/dancer buff I'm virtually unstopable. I can spam specials like no tomorrow and not lose mind unless I'm being beaten on the head. Of course, I tend to hunt in larger groups and usually enraged rancors but at 0101 Fencer I have no problems tanking an enraged by myself. Takes awhile to smack the beast but I live. It also helps that I got master brawler in addition. the lunge2 KD and extra time on warcry/intimidation has been very helpful. In fact I think the lunge2 will work just as often as a Teras Kasi Master's KD on these enraged rancors. With nearly 2k xp a pop (4-5k with some more speed and accuracy) I'm moving fast through fencer as I did with Pike, Two Handed and TK. This is my way to hunt, get xp and credits. Probably not the most effective, I'm sure some know better tactics but I have a lot fun smacking rancors about.

kraz, if i were you i would migrate down to lowest health & action.....i never go ANYWHERE w.o buffs
