I like the idea of the cold weapon, since not too many other weapons have cold damage anyways, like what the sg82 is all I can think of. And cold damage would be cool. Hehe, crappy pun I know, the Ice Rapier!

Cool ideas... I like the chainsaw idea... as long as it still looks sort of like a sword. Or maybe a thin blade that spins really fast powered by a motor in the hilt... it would "drill" through armor. Oh yeah and a sheath would be really awesome. 
I was thinking about dual wielding... sounds really cool. But I hope they add some robotics into it or something...
Any more ideas?

but dream weapon is a scimitar plain and simple... oh yea that and the ability to stick it either into your belt... in a sheath, or on your back would be sick too

Yeah, just a vibro-sword, sabre, rapier, what have you. AP2. That would be great.

i'd like to see more melee weapons... stylized after the various races..
the wookiee weapons are neat... give us some crazy rodian, or zabarak... or trandoshan melee weapons. be wicked.

ryyk blade with gaffi damage and AP2 would suit me just fine.

My dream weapon: Nightsister motor enhanced Vibroblade, I don't know if there's any point in making one but I bet I could hit 300+ dmg after a damage slice, and the AP1 goes into account vs comp armor.

My dream weapon would be a meat cleaver/ butcher knife. It would be sweet to wear with a chef suit.
I don't know what the damage would be like but probably similar to the gaffi stick.
