that will be the day. and the whole point of this "meaningless thread" is to let those people with their super stun batons of black beatingness and the people who cant figure out how to just play their own way and the people who want to get us nerfed go away.
i hope some good ideas spring from this convo since so far its been flame flame flame.

Once again with the referance to children. This has NOTHING to do with the game or the forums. Personally I would think that older teenagers or adults would be made fun of for playing a game...and I hardly believe you are an adult. I started fencer from day one, although this name isn't registered from day one, I started, I should be an Elder damnit, I never found reason to go to the forums =P Well my loss. I am also shamed to share a great proffesion with one such as yourself.
Actually fencer is among the WEAKEST professions in the game to PvP with if your opponent is any good. Throw on some 42% stun comp, then add another 46% stun PSG and that come out to be 88% stun protection. And with a baton thats NO AP that means every swing u MAY be hitting for 20-50 damage. Oh throw in some synthsteak and its like swinging at a tree with a butter knife. There is no KD and we target health which is usually the highest stat target and healable. The only thing that makes fencer sweet to me is the defenses, and the fact that most people arent smart when they PvP.

I think there's a lot of "OMGZ! L0oK @ Mi Ub3R Stun Baton!" And "What's the best template?" posts because there's really nothing wrong with our class (other than a lack of weapon selection) to generate discussion.
Although I don't agree with the orginal posters methods/style of saying it, he does have a point.
I'm a new fencer and new to the game. I picked fencer because; (1) I usually play melee classes in MPRPGs and (2) I figured I'm too casual of a player to ever become a jedi so being a fencer is as close as I'm gonna get 
But, I'm a little tired of the d00d crap myself and I've only been on the boards a couple of months. However, the sticky posts, FAQ's and occassional nuggets posted by players have been very helpful in getting a new player started.
**edit** I just made a fencer FAQ and hit the wrong button at the bottom and the page went white. BAH! wow that pisses me off it covered templates weapon preferance background on fencer armor ap HAM and fastest way to grind!
now im pissed off lol that took a long time to type. too bad im too dum to write it word processor. I would write it again write now but faslik master grinder believes that i suck.
