Thread: A Question about xp gains
When I said they were not stackable I should have clarified that currently I only have Health1, but its good to know that I can stack H1 & H2 on top of each other, looking forward to that as I am only 100k away from it!
From my experience no matter if I break it up with a melee, dizzy or blind in between its not stacking Health1 on top of Health1. Unless the bleed wears off then I can use it again.

i'll need to double check that. because maybe i bleed them once, then put in one 300 damage hit. but i can still get 2500 xp for bleeds alone.
i can confirm that they do not give as much xp, though.

no bleed dmg does not contribute to xp. If you bleed a target to death using nothing else, you will get no xp
I'm a apprentice Rifleman and apprentice Fencer (almost to novice, maybe tonight....). Often when taking on a group of enemies I'll hit one with a mind bleed and head shot 2 (both from my rifle) and let him ponder that while I take on the others with my trusty curved sword. I get XP from the guy that bleeds to death, but depending on how much damage the head shot did, sometimes it won't let me loot the corpse because it says I don't have permission...
I've decided to climb the fencer tree and join the ranks of all you fine people. I'm looking foreward to it. ![]()
I posted this on another thread regarding bleeds, but I will share it here ![]()
I hunt Leviasqualls on Rori pretty much religiously for solo exp( I am known as the bunny slayer and the grinch who stole Easter by myPA because of it). What I do is I open up from a distance with pistol bleeds 1 and 2, then wait till the critter closed and immediately slap on fencer bleeds 1 and 2. All 4 stack, and the beauty is that the exp that you gain is determined by what you attacked the critter with OUTSIDE of the bleeds. In other words, I apply the bleeds as listed above, then I switch to unarmed and make sure that the only "regular" melee attack(s) I used on the critter were unarmed, the exp I get will be unarmed exp. The same holds true for carbine, one hand, two hand etc etc. The bleed damage does not contribute to the exp you gain, but as long as you are soloing, the exp will be fully awarded to you for whatever weapon you hit with ![]()
Now to try and re-rail this thread, as far as two handed swordsmen to one handed go, two handed, at least for now, will more than likely get far more exp than a one handed on average. Reason being the AP rating of the 2 handed weapons. Two handed curved is AP2, where as our best AP is 1 from the vibroblade. An AP greater than that of your target will yeild a damage bonus, where as a weapon AP lower than that of the target will give you a disadvantage. Actually, the disadvantage is muchworse than the advantage gained by a greater one. If I am not mistaken, something like 25% increase for haveing an AP 1 greater than that of the target, where as the damage reduction is 50% for having an AP 1 lower.
Currently, 2 handed swords can be sliced down to increadible speeds, while retaining their min and max damages as compated to say the 1 handed version. You may swing for 200 damage on a target at 1.0 speed cap, but with a well sliced or exp'd 2 hander, he could potentially be hitting for 400 damage at speed cap.
There are a number of things to factor in really.

Just a few random thoughts.
First off, check your weapons.
I assume the 2 hander is using a 2-handed curved sword. And you are using, well, any fencer weapon.
The 2-handed cureved sword is an amazing weapon. Fast and most importanly medium armor peirceing. Right off the bat he is probably doing close to twice as much damage and only slightly slower.
From my limited experence all bleads are on the same timer, and do damage based off the weapon. IE slow heavy hitting weapons are vastly supperior for bleads. The power hammer is a pritty bad weapon for a non master, its very slow. However it does do some amazing bleads.
I am just a novice 1 handed swordsman and novice 2 handed swordman. When things get iffy, I alwasy pull out my 2-handed sword. With my level and weapons, there is no comairson on damage dealt. 2-handed does almost 2x the damage, and thats without bleads.
ok, quick fact about xp gaining:
1. xp is not caculated by how much damage your weapon do, but how much damage the creature you attack took while you using the weapon.
2. Bleed dotn' give you xp, but it will damage the creature
ie. if you are using fencer bleeds on a creature and switch to a pistol right afterwards, you will get full pistol xp because the creature took damage while you are using a pistol to attack him.
note: All Bleeds STACKS as long as it is from the same move, hence, you can stack the following together:
Fencer's bleeds, pistoleer bleeds, BH's bleeds, commando's bleed, etc......

It just needs to be mentioned, I am getting the same EXP as I would have from staright out attacking a creature with one handed weapons as I am using the 4 bleeds and (insert weapon to hit the creature with once here). I will get no exp if I neglect to hit after the bleeds, and the exp is divided proportionally if I say hit for 100 with the pistol, then 300 with the one hand. So,exp out of say 2000 potential would be 500 pistol and 1500 on hand. All in all, the multiple bleed scenario I use is only valid for soloing really, if there are others attacking the thing, the HAM that is drained by the bleed is not factored into the one who applied it's EXP,and it is again divided proportionately based on who did more damagewith regular attacks:/
