To be honest, anyone who cries nerf should be told to shut the hell up until the combat rebalance. After all, we have no idea how that will work after the CR.

More than likely dual wielding will be coming out after the combat balance.

Hehehe, we already knew we were getting Dual-Wields, guys. One of the Devs mentioned a couple weekds ago that they had had people in to shoot motion capture for dual wielding for pistols and fencer.

While I am seriously excited about this and have been ever since they mentioned it, I would certainly much rather have functional weapons that make sense. A sword for our best weapon, perhaps armor piercing on something other than a tiny looking knife. Also, I worry that this may bring in more bandwagon fencers. I'm already sick of seeing 3000 new fencers pop up just so they can get our defenses/stun baton.

I started some kind of wierd fencer rush in my guild for some odd reason. I never even thought about doing fencer for PVP until I dueled a couple of my friends when I mastered. I do the doc thing and wanted to be closer to the front then what I was with rifleman. This duel weapon thing will be cool looking. I love scrolling out and watching the moves already, with another weapon it'll be that much more interesting. Koralan, we need to duel sometime next week when I'm on-line. Assuming our guilds haven't started the war by then. See you in the game.

man, well i know this isn't about fencer but this thread itself seems to be about duel-wield
thank god. pistoleer really needs it (spam threatenshot w/ both weapons and watch crittersfly )
other than that i'd have to say that duel-wielding also looks very awesome. at least SWG will rebalance the combat system soon, then there probably won't be so many Rifles and Stun Batons running around everywhere
