Odd I was told a few weeks ago by numerous master weaponsmiths that the Rantok could not be crafted yet. Of course this was a few weeks ago also...

I also dont see the rantok in the weapons crafter abilities, but I hate that the jabba missions are bugged

I'd put money on the idea that he crafted you either a sword, curved sword, or ryyk, and named it Rantok.

On Bria server, I saw a cheap knife named Rantok and selling for 3K in the vendor. You gotta be careful.

for an update I am doing the missions for bib fortuna right now, so i should have it soon....I am also looking for a high quality ryyk....if anyone knows the names of some good melee weapons crafters on Corbantis I would appreciate them..ty

Just a thought from a weaponsmith-

There is not a single 1 handed weapon in the master weaponsmith line. Should the Rantok blade be there? I don't hear you guys talking about it, but maybe your correspondent should bring this up in the next weekly update.

Yeah, you cannot make Rantoks... Though, I do have a 71-169 2.6 speed Ryyk Blade and a 71-163 2.4 speed Curved Sword.

I think a certain point about the Rantok is being missed here. I completed the missions. Yes there was either no pay or low pay. And the sword i have, a ryyke, hits at 75min damage and 189 max. @ speed of 3.0. Both harder and faster than the Rantok. Not a bad sword even though i am aware there are ones that hit even harder and faster. The point, in my opinion, is the history of the sword. No sword smith no matter how good his copy will be able to make a real Rantok. The Rantok is special amongst all of the war swords because of its history in Star wars and its relationship to Jabba. You can't put that into a sword. I have mine and have never used it for combat. Nor will it ever be used in such a manor. A sword of this immense value to history deserves a place of respect. A place of rest. It's fighting days are over. Technologies have made ourswords faster and more powerful than the Rantok. Even though, in its day, there was not a sword in the universe that was more powerful. So see this sword for what it is.........and let its weary soul rest.

The bowcaster is not in the skill tree I believe. But wookie weaponsmiths can make them (not sure at what level) maybe the Rantok is similar, you need to be a certain race to make it. Not sure just an idea.

i think itd be more respectful to the sword to be able to use it for the purpose it was made.. not decoration.. if crafters are givin the blueprints this sword may be the best one out there.. but maybe stun baton will be.. cant say because the resource hasnt been put into Lowca server.. grrr i want my stun baton!!
