I dont like you in a way that i do like you but i can dis-concern whether your likable in that manner of thinking. Therefore if my manor of thinking is in a good way then i like you half as much as the next time i think like you.

Vincent, you might have me confused with someone else, because you never told me my baton would be taken away from me.


I dont see how unbalancing these are, when you consider that the bug is that the "Min is greater than the Max" - not that damages can actually go up to 300 (i've seen other bones personally up to 250 max dmg, and read other boards where the max was around 300 mark.


Take a 125/200 max damage bone. That is 'legal', unbugged. That stun baton will be around 200/300 unsliced, with a 35% dmg slice will hit 270/405 (a potential max). That is pretty close to the weapon that got taken from me, albeit the stats are reverse.


Like someone said, they looted a min>max bone yesterday, these are still dropping!?

ok lets say i did have a baton that was this way (cough cough), why is it soo bad to have this?

My min greater than max baton was taken from me this morning. No conversation, just taken. Eventually an email arrived to explain that the weapon had been removed as my using it was taking advantage of a game bug. I replied asking about any compensation and was told ;"


Unfortunately, there can be no compensation for this weapon. To buy a weapon for such a large amount of money when it is quite obviously not intended to have higher minimum damage suggests players know it is unfairly overpowered."


Now I never bought the weapon or bone. The baton was made by legitimate means from a bone dropped by Acklay yesterday April 21st. If that bone had been used to make a power hammer all would have been ok? So the bone is only "bugged" for baton use?


I have asked for a further contact from the wise CSR as I am not overly happy with unilateral confiscation of my game produced weapon and indeed the inference that I was some how involved in exploiting bugs.

How do you know it ignores mitigation? When i tested the weapon, there was still a damage range (between the min and max).


Mitigation takes effect on the damage range (penalising weapons with a high range more); if there is still a damage range, then is there still mitigation?


I really dont like how the CSRs assume that because you pay a high price for the item, you must automatically know it to be an 'exploit'. I'd have paid the same price for the stats reversed, I DONT CARE THAT THE MIN> MAX!


To me, the 'exploit' remains unclear (who has proved mitigation is affected?). As was said, if the bones we place in a power hammer, the resultant weapon would have max > min.


We should be compensated for this. No one here is exploiting a bug, because no one even knows if a bug exists or not. How the **edit** are we supposed to know if its a bug, or something the developers intended?? These are not even 'pre-nerf' bones, these are all recent loots people are STILL getting. grr!!!
