As to the whole origin of the NS Vibro motor: I heard they drop rarely off of NS elders and not just Axkvah (sic). With the demand that's bound to generate for these new knuckles I'm willing to bet they'll become more common.
Otherwise the Devs are only screwing pikeman over even more since they need the same motor for their "super" weapon. And just who do you think is more likely to get dibs on the motors if they remain as rare as they are? I mean there's like what, a 100:1 ratio of TKMs to Master Pikemen? You can't walk out your front door without tripping over a Kung Fu boy.

someone REALLY needs to tell fencers that samurai are not fencers. A samurai was trained in the use of many arms, however, the katana of historical popularity, the very weapon SO MANY FENCERS cling to in their minds, is infact comarable to a french **edit** sword. Its ment to be wielded with two hands for maximum damage, and control. While it could and was infact weilded with only one in many situations, it lacks the devistating power that made it so popular among the elite of the shogun. PERIOD. A samurai's "fencer" weapon would be the smaller, accompaning long dagger the washishi(sp?). This was by definition a short one handed sword. A katana, however often it MIGHT have been used with only one hand, WAS INFACT NOT A ONEHANDED SWORD. A **edit** sword could be used with one hand as well, however most of the time it was not, the same is true of the katana.
That being said, I think we could use a acidAP1 weapon. perhaps with a max damage of around250 with very good parts, and a min damage of around 125, with decently high ham costs, but not as bad as the baton, and fairly decent accuracy.
hat min damage is basic without a damage slice or powerup, mitigation doesnt affect min damage, and i know a lot of people use eff sliced stun helms so it really doesnt matter what damage type you use other than stun

the scythe isn't that great mate, kinetic dmg for a start, low min (160-170)dmg gets screwed after mitigation and comp in pvp is factored it. also takes rare loot items to make (yellow powercubes and +15 or higher dmg solidifying pastes and a sword core schematic) tbbh now i have accuracy skill tapes there is no reason to use my scythe unless i'm fighting a creature with 100% blast resist.
