That's fine, but someone elses opinion is certainly different from your own, or MR's in particular. I'm not saying I agree with ebum, but he/she is certainly entitled to their opinion, especially when it's regarding something specific, and not a general "you're horrible" comment.
It's ok to tell folks you don't think they're good at a particular thing. It's not ok to wildly accuse someone of being a "gank fest enjoying griefing PVP'r". And that's my opinion.
If you're too sensitive, then maybe being in a notable position is not something you should consider.

I agree but I don't think that MRs comment was actually directed at Ebum. I'll back out of this thread now as it's not really my place to discuss this.

I will too, but if you go back and look at MR's last post, it starts off "Ebum,"
I think it was entirely directed at him.

For the record, just because I'm a person who enjoys pvp does not mean that I do, orhave ever griefed anyone, I do not enjoy being in ganksquads, and if you ask my opponents you would find that I am quite friendly.I've been pvping since release,and doing quite well even as an armorless wook back in the day, so I guess Ill say I know pvp better than 90% of the pvpers too.Im involved in a guildwar with 3 guilds currently, and have not once have I ran to the cloner to camp someone after defeating them, when it would be quite easy.
They way you immediatly assume that I am a "gank fest enjoying griefing PVP'r " really reinforces my previouslly stated opinion. I have no trouble with people who share your mindset and playstyle, I do have a problem when those people speak for me, and others who share my playstyle. You've never been vocal aboutany fencerpvp issue, or if you have, perhaps you could enlighten me?

Greetings fellow Fencers,
I am saddened to say that do to a variety of reasons I can no longer serve in the capacity as Fencer Correspondent. My reasons are private and I will not answer questions regarding what they are, but I will tell you what they are not.
My decision to step down is not based on the changes made to Fencer, I maintain after viewing and being a part of those changes since August of last year that they are a positive change to our Profession.
My decision to step down is not based on the legal problem which has prevented a memorial to Raphayl. While it saddens me, we ourselves can create a memorial to her ourselves in game and that it'self would be more amazing than any developer created memorial.
My decision to step down is not based on a lack of desire to help the Fencer community anymore. I would stay a correspondent till the end of time if I could.
So in closeing, remember Raphayl and her contributions not just to Fencer, but to the people who make up the real Star Wars Galaxies namely yourselves. And when Tiggs posts a call for applications make sure that you are willing to uphold those ideals if you apply. You have been a wonderfull community, you've been great benefits to the game overall, and I'm proud to have been your correspondent for nearly a year in total. I will stay on as long as is desired for me (by Tiggs) to assist with the transition of a new Correspondent, but my involvment in the game beyond that is unknown.

I just got off the phone with Tiggs,
I've been asked to stay on till the end of the CU, and given that transfering a new Correspondent in right now would be chaotic at best, I've agreed.
Thank you for your comments, needless to say that the phone call resolved the issues surrounding my stepping down, and as I wanted in the first place I'll get to stay fighting for all of you till the CU is done.
