I would take to take this opportunity (as I'm shoving my breakfast down my throat and running out the door) that we are collecting these submissions in the Thread titled "Compilation of Fencer Issues 09/24/03". Let's keep these all on one thread.

If stun damage becomes universal to all other weapon classes we will be losing one of our best advantages. I see this happening if we ask to have the damage types of the other proffesions, as they would deserve the same balance (getting stun damage). We should be asking for more weapon types of course, but with our almost totaly unique stun damage. I would also love to have armor peircing 2on the Gaffi. That would be a SWG dream come true. Try a 200 damage stun baton on a 50% krayt enhanced composite armor opponent, and you'd defend the stun baton (and stun damage)with your life too. I would love to demonstrate our uberness in stun batons for you on ahazi if you feel different. We need to spend our efforts on reducing ham costs and speed balancing instead of wasting it on being pretty. We are already the classiest class of all classes Don't wanna become like the hazed pistoleers with their idea of pistol twirling to the devs. heh.

If pistoleers have time to complain about pistol spinning meneuvers then I think thier class is balanced already.


I did see in a past post somewhere a great idea for offense.


Lets say for some reason the devs cannot implemet a .5 speed cap, due to server side messaging performance. Ithink the idea of dealing a double attack on non special moves would help. Maybe it could be a skill todeal out a double strike attack, to bring non-special dmg back in line if we get stuck at the 1.0 speed cap.
