Thread: i know thi shas been rehashed and rehashed: DODGE
If it did not stack, then there would be no way that a Master fencer (with no Marksman skills whatsoever) could use a CDEF pistol and be able to dodge as much as they do. That being said, IMO there is no debate on whether the dodge stacks or not. Rather, the debate is 'did the devs put a cap on the dodge?' Some speculate yes, others say that it is a glitch with the most recent patch, and others are unsure. But to keep this post with the question in the original thread .... yes, the dodge stacks.
Personally I would like the results to be posted as it should help the fencer community, but it really comes down to your judgement. If you do decide not to tell us the confirmed answer on dodge, counterattack and block then if at all possible could you find the time to quickly message me if they stack or not![]()

I enjoy my fencer the way it is, and dont mind these rumors stating dodge doesn't stack. Its just the fine the way it is ![]()

Acting as a correspondant and withholding information that the Dev's haven't told you is private is both unfair to the community and wrong in your job.

Tell us Raph!!! KNOWING IS HALF THE BATTLE!!!!!
It's all the battle really, and it's not as if it can be kept secret. For instance, if they capped it at 100, we can run the same mindnumbing tests that were run before to see ifcompared to9x dodge, 100 dodge is better. Then see if 105 dodge is still better. And so on, until we find where it plateaus. Please don't make us do that...my eyes would bleed. ![]()
One of the lessons from EQ is that no matter how badly devs or whoever wants to keep mechanics info secret, the players will figure it out. Even if the effort to do so is tedious and painful lol.
If there is a cap, and that cap is above either the MP or MF level, which I fully suspect, perhaps not telling us might discourage some dabblers.
If it stacks and theres no cap, then not telling us may discourage some dabblers, but considering the vast number of posts contradicting this, it is probably not the case. Unless the new NPC accuracy has been correctly implicated as the reason for this misinterpritation.
And if it's no longer stackable then telling us would make no difference. Telling us would in fact discourage dabblers.
So it does stack, but there may or may not be a cap. And I'm not sure if I even care anymore!!!
i want to know unless she thinks i shouldn't. i say let her decide if it would truly benefit the community.
