I don't know what's considered a great PvP template, but I would think Fencer/Doctor is more of a PvE template. Buff yourself, heal yourself, pick up and go whenever you want. Or maybe it's a support PvP template, or maybe you just like being able to buff people. In either case, maybe it's not great for one on one duels.
You're right. The best pvp'ers have no skill pts spent in any medic/scout etc. Usefood/spices for emergencies situations like that. With a proper template, you shouldn't need a stim unless 4-5+ are ganging up on you.
master doc is nice but to be honest dropping doc and keeping medic will benfit you more in PvP...
my advice is to get lotsa dizzy AND kd def.... im doing research for the best way to get these defences myself...
TKMs are strong... but not invincable(sp?).... fencers are really good in PvP with the combonation of status effects like blind(not only for you to get hit les often but for you to hit more often), itimidate(sp? also can help) and lastly warcry(what good is a KD if they cant use it???)
a good set of clothes with + to warcry/inimidate will help you out a lot...
if you like fencer but dont like the pvp ummm... go neut and just PvE... you can still enjoy the game.... altho being apart of a faction makes it more fun...
the devs said they are "fixing" i say "fixing" cause most the time they fix something they leave a new door open for someone to completely whore anyone else....
The previous posters have hit on the key. You have master doctor, but in a duel, you are not using all those spent points. In a real fight you would have healed yourself, and diseased the heck out of the other guy. Duels are NOT an indication of class balance. They turn into talking the other guy into not using their abilities, while you talk you abilities into the dueling manifesto. You know "Healing is gay!", "No pets", "No bleeds", "No KD", etc.
If you want to know how powerful you combo is, by all means use all of it first. You might still lose the duel, but you will make the other guy wish they hadn't bothered duelling you.
well Im going for master fencer, master tka, and almost master pistoleer for duel and pvp purposes the defensive bonuses should work out very well in my favor
