Thread: New Discusion on best class to compliment fencer
Thought that with changes in Ch I would open up discusion on best class to support fencer.
I am currently ch 4 4 0 4 with new changes as posted today that would give me ch lv 48, not enough for gurreck but enough for toxic merek battlord. Also once maxed out in fencer ( i am currently 3 4 1 3) with my master Brawler, scout 4 0 4 0, novice medic 1 1 0 0 i will be maxed out of points.
So it looks like going for doctor 0 2 3 0 is next best thing since it allows you to buff self, however what the hell do you guys do with kiters. If it was not for my gurreck running the cowardly bastards down i would be dead every time since they just run away and shoot while laughing.
Some guys also like pistoleer since it solves the kiting problem, others get several trees in other melee classes which i could do since i am master b.
Anyways think i might switch to doctor would look like this,
Master Fencer, Master Brawler, Master Medic, Doctor 0 2 3 0, and Novice Swordsman (just for counter and 5 melee def) which leaves exactly 0 skill pts.
What are your templates and ideas?
hmm...for me, i know a lot of master doctors, so decided not to waste so much skill points on getting to doctor 0-2-3-0 coz' it requires around 100 skill points to get it.
right now, i am working on getting master brawler, 4-0-0-4 in TKA and all the defense tree in all melee classes. Imagine stacking up doctor's buff with power boost of TKA, then hopefully those defense mods will works.
QUESTION:
Does the melee and range defense mod of other classes works if i am equipped with a 1h weapon? I have heard rumors about the skill mod of that class only works if you equip that specific kind of weapon.
If you are thinking the same as me +200 block and +100 resists to knockdown seems possible once the patches come in from test center.
man if that would work i'd actually give up ch just to become super brawler

If this guy ever lost a melee fight i would be shocked.
With PvP in mind, Id be going Master Fencer, Master Creature Handler, TKA precisions striking 3. and medic with FA2.
Master Brawler would be preferable to the TKA line, but the points dont allow for it.
Ranger is still only a super fancy scout with nothing truely effective besides player track.. save yourself the points and take something truely useful. You might want to think about some medic and a defensive tree in TK instead. Meditate is nice to have, especialy when your attacks require mind. Plus the future defensive bonuses look massive in the TK proffesion.
