I'd suggest heading to Tatooine and hunting scyks and diseased bocatts. Relatively easy and good exp.

Hmm. Where on Tatooine could I find them?

Out in the desert, they're moderately common NW of Mos Eisley.

Yup - I cut my teeth on diseased bocatts as well. I just took missions from Mos Eisley.

Also, once you can handle them, the Velerian scouts in the canyons near Mos Eisley are also great exp. Lunge-Dizzy is your friend.

To get to novice Fencer, I gouped with some friends (including a doctor) in the Drall caves on Corellia. Those are fast exp, and your spin attack will work really well here. Just make sure you have enough people to handle the agro. We did it with me, one doctor, and 2 other ranged fighters.

Tatooine seems to have done the trick. I'm now an "Apprentice Swordsman". *chuckles* I don't know why it isn't "apprentice fencer", but whatever...

Now time to get to novice fencer, and then a whole new world... where on Corellia are these Drall caves? Coords would be nice.

Right now I'm working on becoming a master one-handed, and so I'll still have a long ways to go until I even get to novice fencer.

I was wondering what was the quickest way to solo fencer XP? Right now I'm just doing faction missions on Kaadara, Naboo... but it only nets me about 130 XP per person. That's dismal and rather slow.

Any help here?

Starting from Novice Brawler or 1handed 1, where should one hunt to get to the level for tatoonie's criters?

greetings

i trained the master fencer skill 5 days ago, and although some of you may flame/make fun/insult me for posting how i did it i am still very proud to be a Blademaster

most of the exp i earned occured before the recent baz nitch nerf, and now that they are all aggro it made things a bit more difficult for mebut thanks to warning shot and a fast pistol i still managed to do very well with them

also this "training" would not have been possible without my beloved cat Sed, a loyal sludge panther from the beautiful planet Talus

basiclly my hunts went like this:

clone

i accept2 missions to destroy giant baz nitch lairs to the south of the outpost (on planet Dathomir if you are unfamilliar with nitches)

i head on out to one of the lairs

i draw one nitch twards me, either by taunting them or by firing a dot

the nitch charges at me

i send a pet

the nitch ignores me, and starts attacking my cat

i now switch to my vibroblade, and run on in

i stand 4m away from the nitch (right next to my cat's back leg) and wack away

the nitch usually ignores me and i drop him, but if he gets mad i switch to a blaster and fire a warning shot

now the nitch gets scared and runs away

my cat continues to attack him so he doesn't run for long, the nitch stops shorlty after the warning shot hits and starts to attack my cat again

i just switch backtothe vibro and go after him again

when the thing falls, i am very pleased

while grouped with my pet this ugly chicken, hard hitting thing generously grants me 3500 - 4000 one hand exp, 350 combat, 200 pistol, 440 ch and 450 scouting for every harvest

each nitch took about 2 minutes to kill using this "method" and i had to make many camps and dolots of healing during the few weeks i spent here

still, this was the best exp for the risk that i have found so far so i stuck with it

after i wipe out the nitches around the lair, i shoot the lair and then peace it immediatly after 1 or 2 shots hit

this almost always causes 1 or 2 more nitches to spawn, and i hunt some more

as an added bonus, after i shoot/peace the lair down to about 1/2 ham they simply stop spawning

i walk right up and smack the lair for a cool 10k

after lots of grinding and many long nights, i was able to train as a master

please note:

i am not trying toadvertise some easy exp scam for everyone to go try, i just felt like sharing how i did it

any "you have no life" flames are welcome

Yokofool:

ipicked up ch skills just to have a tank while i trained as a fencer

i was able to tame a greater sludge panther as a novice with no other skills before the patch, but even now that it has a challenge level of 23 it's still my choice for the best pet in the galaxy

also warning shothas beena lifesaver for me day after day, and i believe the ranged 3 skill on the marksman tree grants you this skill which is useable with any ranged weapon

MaxPhoenix:

thanks! and congrats to you as well fellow master
