Fencer Archive

I'm a real fencer... Been one ever since the day I bought the strategy guide. ( I know buyng the guide seemed lame, but buying it with the Special edition was cheap and without it, I probably wouldn't be a fencer)

So what are you? A true, 100% fencer or will you drop it as soon as you master to pick up another profession? Feel free to express your opinions.

I don't know what you would call me, started as Master Ranger / Master Gunfighter then switched to Master Gunfighter / Expert Bounty Hunter to do PvP. I got really bored on my server, Rebels hardly put up a fight so after a long time I just dropped everything and took up Fencer and got Blademaster faster than I should have. Afraid I'll be bored again But I really really like Fencer. I didn't do for holo or dodge or anything else, just for fun and I really enjoy it.

I was working on Fencer when my christmas Holo said Fencer so I lucked out.

I choose fencer as my profession driving home reading the manual at the stop lights.Bought my copy around 2nd or 3rd week of game release. Haven't looked back since.

Real fencer. Ever since July.

And I wont leave, never ever

Depends on your definition of 'real fencer'

If you mean 'fencer since day one of playing the game' then I'm not.

I've been an entertainer, medic, pistoleer, swordsman and doctor before picking up fencing.

I was a master doctor and master swordsman for a long while there but needed a change and am now experimenting with a rather extreme template (part of it is 0 medical skills heh) to see what I can come up with.

I have no interest in the force sensitive slot, I had been toying with the idea for a little but my holo told me chef and I made up my mind then it just wasn't worth the effort. Maybe some day if I ever get bored of melee skills and pvp (not likely).

i was a bh in the beginning for the money....then i got tired of getting beaten by a pistoleer/bh or a carbinier/bh, so i decided i was going to take the most illogical class for star wars and make it work for me...i chose master brawler/fencer/tkm....my holo told me image designer....i was good till the dodge stacking came out...now i ama second rate fencer, or i feel like it at least.

My second Holocron just told me to be a Fencer, so I will grind Fencer.

Any tips from the "true" Fencers would be much appreciated.

Scorp, it's not that you aren't a "true" Fencer. Perhaps the wording on the first post could be changed a bit.

What he is asking, is how many Fencers are here because they actually want to BE Fencers as their primary profession, and we can count on still seeing them here (as Fencers) a few months from now. As oppossed to the Holocron Fencers that (while "true" Fencers) probably won't remain Fencers after reaching Mastery, or the Pistoleers that just took Fencer for the Dodge stacking, or the Badnwagoneer sthat always jump to the lastest FOTM, and vanish just as fast.

Endurance is what we are questioning... who is going to stick around?

i started off teras kasi, then rifleman, then bh, then back to tk/commando, then back to bh, and now fencer/rifleman/BE (giving up rifleman).

not a single profession b/c of a holo. i haven't even used any i have on any char on any server on both accounts.

i'm trying fencer b/c it looks fun. i've always preferred melee over ranged b/c i hate to run from fights.
