I just made to Master Fencer today. I was so excited so I asked people around to do sparring. I'm a doctor as well, soI got buff myself with action and health (since I have only 400 on health and action without buff). I can stand against dizzy and stun at some point. But the problem I met today happened when I sparred with the Master Heavy Swordman. Both I and He had a buff on health and action, so it's quite impossible to me to beat him by bleeding. What I did is using scatter hit and hope that I can get his mind down. Now the thing is that he had mind bleeding and also the hit that only concentrate on mind, so I was the one who got incapped first :/ I do use CoB and Blinding, but still unable to avoid the bleed. I tried to heal the bleed, but that also ate my mind, too. I was out of idea how to beat this guy.

Anyone has a good strategy against mind attack for fencer?

Warcry. Dizzy. Lunge.

That's the thing that pretty much wins fights against my Swordsman, and about the only thing that stops me in melee, quite frankly.

good advice, that combo works on most anyone effectively.

also does the heavy swords wear composite, i might have missed that in your orginal post? Perhaps it is plauseable to experiment a stun baton wtih rancor teeth and power ups to a decent level of use, for fights such as these.

yes that combo works but if ur interested in being 00.01% skillful use blind/intimidate/bleed2/bleed1 then smoke um as they wont hit u and if they do it will nbe for under 100 damage

A Comp helm with super high resists to Blast and Kinetic is a must. Invest in the very best you can afford.

Macro/hotkey the helm. Accept (or issue the challenge) without it on. Make sure you COB before you issue/accept. He/she will go for what (they believe) to be your unprotected head. Wasted shot (if they hit you that is).

What you follow up with is a matter of personal preference.

This might sound like the words of a coward, but I'll post them anyways:

My last used tactic for bringing down a pesky Swordsman consisted of 3 things: WarCry2, Intimidation2 and Lunge2. So you get the idea alreadyI take it? Stayaway from him, spam Lunge2 and WarCry/Intimidate if he gets too close. You don't want him to reach you, and you don't want him to hit/bleed you

Aight, so that was my Lunge-semi-kiting-style based upon the master Brawler title.

Hi i am new to Fencer and New to the fourm's

I am already a Master Fencer It rox

The advice I would give to you is have a stash of muon gold in your inventory as your mind becomes weak and the swordsman thinks he has you , eat it.

your mind will be strong the swordsman will incap quite easily afterwards

you win Fencers rock

my tactic as a TK was this....and i dont have the helm option myself.

I would kite, same as if the guy was a comando, id simply kite them.

I would kite them until I landed intimidate possibly a warcry, i might have tried a lunge, but that did not concern me, most heavy swords i fight are in heavy composite and being kinetic damage as Vks are, i only used one macro.

stun/blind

over and over, making sure intimidate was up. A populare move for those guys is to get master brawler , use lunge2 then pop you with a mind bleed while you are in the kneeling position. its important to intimdate before they get the bleed off, as this will save your hide, and if they want to dance with you using low ham stun blind with a power hammer, well thats usualy not going to buy alot of realestate.

as a fencer, my tactics are not alot differant, except i will use their tactic against them. kite them still, intimdate, and go for the dizzy lunge combo, just long enough to stack those bleeds.

As the bleeds star to tick and keep fighting, if you time it just right, you can pop off a warcry before you guess they will heal, if you do this, you have 10 seconds to try to finish them off with this tactic.

ofcourse in composite stun baton is the way to go.

my 2 cents, anyways seems to work somewhat.

Since that guy are master brawler/swordman, and he also buffed. Only way I can beat him is to get rid of his mind before he got mine lol

I'm master heavy swords. I find that ifwe're unbuffed me vs. unbuffed fencer it can go either way. Swords do more damage but fencers are kind of hard to hit. But ifwe're buffed it's impossible to lose to a fencer- the sword mind bleeds win it every time. They are much higher than fencer health bleeds.
