Hi everyone, I just started an alt character and have half ground fencer. Man I didn't know how good you guys had it! This profession rocks. I have always pursued ranged up until now, but I think I like this better. Anyway to my question. My plan for this character was to go Master Fencer/ Master Riflemen. Is this a sound templete? My goals are twofold--to get some pvp action and also to supply my weaponsmith alt with good loot (ackly bones, krayt tissues, etc..). Any insight anyone could give me would be most valuable. Thank you in advance!

nice temp, u might wanna dabble into pistoleer 1XXX(any more boxes in that tree is over kill)so u can dodge cap and that will help as a rifleman, also u can pick up some nice defenses XXX4, also u wanna go medic too, im not on my normal computer now but i would hop in a Character builder for ya.

Master Fencer
Master Riffleman
Pistol Tech IV
Pharmacology 4
Leaves you with 3 points to get some FS skills.
You're a pain to everyone in pvp because you can either shoot their brains out or go fencer and stay alive and in pve you have riffleman to kill all the nasty high end mobs. You can basically solo almost everthing, though elders and their bleeds will make it harder...

this is prolly gonna get kicked to the template thread... but welcome to the Fencer community
as a Master Rifleman/Master Fencer/Trickshot (Pistol xx4x)/Medic 2130 - i can say that this template is a lot of fun. you get ranged and melee mitigation 3, uber defenses, and a choice between awesome ranged dmg or tanking.
in pvp - your worst enemy will be any high level dots. and rifle isn't useful in jedi wars (unless you're in a good group and can stay out of melee range using HS3).
but it's a very fun template.
remember - when holding a rifle you can use intimidate and warcry, but you don't get any one-handed toughness bonus (which will mitigate a % of melee dmg being done to you) -and you don't have the ability to dodge.
enjoy!

Welcome to becoming the best.
I really like that template... I have it for my alt for loot whoring. Not a GREAT pvp template but if it works

No Hello? No welcome to the world of a fencer, no "please review and post in the correct thread"?
*Offers minerunner some manners*
And no the one star is not from me.

You have a good point. I disagree however with the idea of flameing at all even after asked.
I was in my statement calling upon others to explain politely why this thread was inappropriate. The regular members of this forum have the same duty as I do to inform new members of these rules of etiquette.

I apologize for mis posting this thread. I've been a BH most of my SWG career and on that forum we don't have a template sticky, so it honestly never entered my mind to look. I thank all who responded and in the future I will more closely watch my forum ettiquette.

Template threading destroyed the usability of this forum. Welcome aboard. However please respect that we have given you the ability to ask and discuss templates in the stickied thread links at the top.
Further I had thought that it was common sense to review the stickies at the top to see if there was the information you were looking for.
Not trying to be mean or rude, just protecting the Fencers from having to wade through thousands of template threads a day when they really aren't nessisary.

Yea BH Forums never had the problem we did about template threads... before there used to be litterally 300 posts in 50+ different template threads per day. The entire Fencer forum was totally unuseable. So I don't hold anything against ya. I'm more ashamed of the people who are regulars to the Fencer Boards who responded to you who know better.
