Should I continue to Footwork or add skill to others?

Please advice.

well, for one, you should have 0/3/0/1 (you've gained enough combat exp)

Getting to 0/4/0/1 will just nerf the exp more, get the two lower tiers of the other skills, and then go on.

are we positive about this XP? i'm 100K away (only about 5 hours work) from footwork IV, so i've got enough for two lower tier boxes... should i really get those instead to keep XP gains high for faster advancement?

my personal suggestion is to go for footwork 4.. it is a huge increase in speed, and health hit 2 is very nice. My xp has only gotten faster, not slower.

I'd somewhat agree. it's really on your style of play. Like do you group and hunt large things? Or Do you solo mostly, smaller things, without pets.

The increase in speed can really help you get ahead in big group, but the defenses you could get otherwise are great for soloing stuff. I think it's really just a matter of preference.

Personally, after I went 1/3/1/1 before going into 1/4/1/2 and it really suited my style of play. Oh, and also, I max out my exp on that tier first so I can milk it as much as possible before i get the next level of reduction. I suggest everybody do this, it's helped me greatly.

the maxing is a good idea... but sometimes i just want that next move. i'm thinking health hit 2 might really help things along. that way i can bleed right before i'm incapped, and with a 500 hit 1, and a 1000 hit 2 (as it is described) i can just enjoy the sky while they bleed out and give me the xp.

i hope i'm not off-base on this.

No,you're right on target. It can also be the deciding factor in PvP. Lunge+Dizzy, and then KD. Then run, because when they get back up, (if they do) you don't have much of a chance after that for another 10 seconds or so...

From my experience, I can really only KD somebody once per duel.

i assume you mean knock them down, use two bleeds, and run like hell? that should be a very effective tactic. i can't wait for a kiter to call me cheap for doing it. pots and kettles, boys. pots and kettles.

in that case, i will get that second bleed and get me some PvP wins instead of constant losses, maybe.

all's fair in love and war, and i love war.

By maxing one line first ;you will mess up your exp. Yes you'll be faster and have health hit-2..but w/o out any other special moves to inflict upon your target ...they will still out live you.

yeah, but with my play style, i might be able to take down bigger mobs with health hit 2. which will more than compensate for the loss of xp gained. i guess i'll have to try it and see.

thanks for all the info, though.

Though you should get Body Hit 2 next, You will be using that special the most until you get Body Hit 3 eventually. (It is the worstbranch though, so you'll probably save it for last).

i've already got body hit two. did you mean health hit two? that's what i'll get for footwork IV. and which is the worst branch? right now advanced is the one that's helped me most, making it the best, for me anyway.

i'd be confused if i weren't too dumb to be immune to confusion.

stances and grips - footwork - technique - finesse

what I did as I leveled up was I went for footwork, grabbed technique 1 for bodyhit, then went up stances and grips, and now i'm working on technique. I think it has worked really well for me.
