I wouldnt say that, fencer is probably the best melee class right now. But I will agree its in damn good shape in anoverall sense. I mean a non-stacked centered fancer is a tough target to take down. Right now fencer is the only melee profession I fear, TKM cant hurt me with my armor and buffs, heavyswordsman have no defenses, and pikeman are...pikeman. So I wouldnt go as far as to say its themost balanced, but its definitly in damn good shape. I'm having alot of fun leveling it, its taking slightly longer then it took me to do TKA, but its alot more fun.

Aye i agree TKM will most allways lose to a Fencer , hte resion i know this ive being a tkm a long time and am now a fencer im also , master swordman and master bralwer and just droped tkm so i could be fencer , now i PVP alot and i dont just use unarmed hit3 i use tactices as well , i know TKM prof very well and only time ive beaten a fencer is when he was novice

Now i ca last a long time against a fencer with TKM but most of the time they win ,

now on the balanced of melee profession well most are ok except pikeman that broken TKM is working perfect as well as fencer and swordman , and if you are caped on speed a swordman will give a fencer a run for there money , but they are still crap as AP still doesnt work in PVP

But fencer is a very balanced profession and with MHS TKA 4304 , and Master Bralwer you are very hard to hit in PVP and PVE

yeah i found that as swordsman if ifought some one without armour it was a cert i'd win but with good armour on it was hard hoping fencer/swordsmn will change that now, going to get a but of tk as well i think to try and max out defences, has anyone done master fencer /master sword with say th emeditation line of tk and is it good in pvp& pve, considering i have no problem getting buffed

Fencers are pretty good looking in shape, but thier are serval key issues with them to bring them upto speed an in line with what they should be. The dev's ahve a good start an seam to have a goal for us, but for right now thier is still much that needs to be tested. I do hope changes to our weapons, damage an over all ablities to evolve a bit stronger but not by much. You have to remember, that what is here now can change torrow so I hope those changes are for the better an are reasonible.

TKM will win most of the time LOL, u have got to be kidding me. The thing with TK is that so many peeps played it to death and now anyone that knows how to pvp will owna TKM.

in fact I think your statement is an oximoron. the others are so unbalanced that fencer is the outlier, and there for unbalanced when taken into the whole. hence the great combat rebalancing effort that is constantly looming... and purpetually stalled.

In general, I agree with you. Fencer feels best. That doesn't mean that fencer is perfect. As it stands, we are a little too weak in the damage output and AP side. I think that swordsman is too good, and pikeman too weak. I can't judge TKA's at all.

It's a cycle really. As people realize that one profession isn't nearly as nerf-ready as they think it is (with that profession saying "No, we're balanced, bring your own profession up to par") it moves onto another profession. And that profession starts saying "No! We're balanced, bring your own profession up to par." And so on, til every profession can say that, and people realize that nerfing isn't the answer....at least in a perfect world, but we can hope, right?

If we have 2 professions saying "Hey we're pretty well balanced" I think that's something to celebrate. TKM and Fencer can both pretty much say they're on the right balance track with being a good final product. What's profession will be next, do you think?

And for the love of all thats right; represent the profession with class...don't go out advertising to the gaming world that we're some unbeatable force...we aren't. I'd hate to log- in and see NERF the Fencer threads pop up everywhere.

We are fairly balanced...there is one thing that can cripple us however; those of you who have truely Mastered the profession know what that"thing" is, soI wont expose it to the masses who dont.

Just be humble, today we seem good, tomorrow could be a different story.

FYI, I am a Pure Fencer...I dueled a Master Pikemen in an un-armored duel. No buffs, no nothing-It was actually a pretty good fight...when she used that "thing"; the gapbetween professions are not as vast as many think. It's the armor and buffs that are the real Juggernauts of the game.
