Well if you have a pet do hurton stalker missions on dantooine. Your pet can tank and you can stand behind it and kill them off pretty eays for about 4k XP each plus the lair and get approx 30-40k per mission. I started fencer 3 weeks ago and am now 3404. I expect to finish with master this weekend. It takes about 1 hour per 100k XP.

Linkless your 3-4-0-4? You just totally ignored one of the best moves the fencer tree has (Bodyhit 2 - 3) and then you went and got scatter hit instead.
On another note, I grab imp missions from terminal with at-st and get like 100-300 combat xp from all the soldiers and inbetween 2k-4k xp for the soldiers as well. That, and the money and fp, make leveling like that my #1 choice.

my favorite is using a pet on dathomir and doing kam missions. i took up ch just so it could tank while i get the exp and eventually drop ch and get master brawler/master fencer/master medic. anyways, i only get 10k credits for each huurton stalker mission.....

Yeah,
I know I should have went up the body hit line instead. but i just got 4404. working on it now. I should be master by the end of the week. You can tank the hurton stalkers with a rock beetle at least untill patch. Just get some good pet stims and keep it healed. But its light armor so it should do ok.

Yeah pretty much what everyone else is saying. Pets will help you if you choose that route. Killing npcs xp goes by pretty quickly.Only thing i have to add is buy Tatooine sunburns exspeically if you use a gaffi stick. Also buy some cheap kinetic resist armor with low encumbrances. This will give you a light armor rating along with little change. That means 50% less damage on 90% of the stuff out there.Or at least that my expriences.

I played fencer pretty slowly my first two months of play. Just exploring the game and having fun. I also mastered Musician in that time. When I decided to grind out the rest of the profession, I was 1-2-1-1 and I started with Nargs near Moenia and rebel missions. Once I got Footwork IV, I started hunting defilers on Dath for 5K XP a kill. I went from 1-4-1-1 to master in about a week to a week and half from there. You'll need some medic skills or have a nice medic friend with you to do the missions probably. I do not believe in using pets.

Well after this patch we will hopefully see a big boost in our tanking ability. Which will rock. Just get some Doc buffs, get novice medic(at least) and some great B stims and you should be able to take quite a bit of a beating if your smart about it.

with the new changes, i've stopped using pets. i still group with them and tell them to stay near the town while i go out and solo. i'm a full proponent of the non-pet fencer now.
