Thread: CoB in PvP
I have nothing else more to say, but CoB just so kick butt in PvP.
The first day of CoB, i duel a guy and dodge 9 out of 10 of his shots. He hastrees inpistoleer/smuggler/BH, he got no skill point left. so he is a pure pistol mod stacker.
Last nite, i got bored and i duel 5 ppl at the same time. lol, you should watch me, i was like NEO in SWG.
btw, try your CoB when dueling multiple ppl. it isjust so fun.
Blademaster/ 4-0-0-4 TKA / 0-0-4-0 heavy swordman/ now working on polearm defense tree.
I am debating should I get the dodge from pistoleer and give up the defense tree on swordman and polearm.
Seriously...
Keep it on the downlow there is really very little reason to go spouting off that we are gods... to be honest look at you just like me mastering all the defensive skills and Fencer... Good tactic but it's not being a Fencer that makes you go it's your Signleminded dedication to being a defensive god...
You don't have cool tracking things... can't make anything .... probably can self medicate barely and run up hills... Not a bad thing but very focused...
And still a Commando can kill you with Flame shot 1 because Dodgeing only dodges the initial damage of the blast of fire not the burn... unless he misses outright you still can burn to death.
And BH can still oneshot you...
And Carbiners can still kite/Kd/Bleed you...
And Pistoleers can **edit** near out dodge you bleed you and one shot you while kiteing.
We definatly don't need someone yelling nerf when we are finally comeing into line with the rest of the classes.

I agree with Minerunner. I know it might seem like we are "gods" now, but it's just due to what our basis for comparison is. We were hurting for so long that any boost seems to be the "oasis in the desert."
Not only that... but this profession is about honor, upper-classmanship, and so forth. It just isn't verysportsmanlike (which makes it not very Fencerlike) to be dancing in your underwear over a defeated corpse playing "We are the Champions" on a kazoo while pouring hot wax over your nipples.
Enjoy the new gifts... but don't loose sight of what we went through to get here.

yep, and weapons make a Different too. with a same player, I can dodge his Launcher pistol but not his fwg5.
btw, i am not saying we are god now, I am just trying to say this whole CoB thing make us more effective in PvP now. unlike before, we will die before we get to our targets.
I was raiding Anchorhead last nite. I can say with buffs, we are really good. but once the buffs wear off, our survival is down to like 70% (i turn on CoB continuously)
yes, BH can still eye shot you, but they have to hit you first, and if they hit you, usually its 400+ damage with no helmet on. and if you already have use up your mind on CoB or other specials, you are pretty much dead, coz' TKA and other melee still have a high chance to hit you.
