In my opinion, yes, they certainly fit much better. They're one-handed weapons. A swallow or "Double-Bladed Sword" is not held with a single hand, unless the holder wants to cut their chest open. Think of how one of the blades would look, performing specials with it, slicing through your body because of the one handed animations. It simply would not work.

In my opinion, yes, they certainly fit much better. They're one-handed weapons. A swallow or "Double-Bladed Sword" is not held with a single hand, unless the holder wants to cut their chest open. it would need new animations, seperate of the normal ones. It could be done as you are a master fencer and you should be able use a weapon like this if you see how it is drawn one is in held perpendicular to the body and the other paralell to the body. One arm would attack, draw back, then the other would attack. It would be similar to wielding two gaffys, only these are a bit longer
Sounds an awful lot like a polearm to this Rodian

hehe i knew someone would say that
but in the picture i made of the stick-man are wielding a polearm. notice how long they are compared to my weapon? and if you actually see someone wielding one they use two hands as they are made for area attacks and this is made for speed : P

Come on guys! we need a better ONE handed sword...I like the rapier idea...its fast (like us) and should deal slightly more damage than we do now...not much of course (we don't want to get nerfed) but enough to make us more solid.
