Good day all, I am proud to say I am finally a amster Fencer, and am loving it. The purpose of this post is to see how many spectacular kills a fencer was able to do solo. To start things off I will relate my expereinces from last night:

While on Lok, I went to a Pirate Cave to see what ti was all about, it was really too easy to do as a master Fencer so after going through it once, I hopped on my bike and headed for Nym's Stronghold. On the way I saw a lair (a pile of bones) with 2 Kimogilas and a hatchling, I figure I am headed for off world anyway, why not see what I can do, equip a gaffi (only 45% resist to kinetic with emdium armor and 25000 HAM) and head to them. I CoB, wearing no armor and start swinging, pop some spice for a buff and low and behold I killed 3 Kimogilas (granted one was a hatchling)!! Then I hit the lair once feeling confident adn 5 kimogilas spawn, I take all of tehm down too. One more spawns just as the spice gives out, and I am down and slain before I can reinitiate CoB, got to get a macro for that. This was perhaps one of the most exhilarating things I have done as a fencer.

Tonight off to Dathomir to see how I fair against Rancors, and maybe I will even try a Krayt. Please post your greatest combat stories as a solo fencer. Love to hear them, this is by far one of the best functioning professions out there.

For all those interested, I am a master Fencer, Pistoleer with 2/0/0/0 Scout and 0/0/3/0 Smuggler. I did not use anything but fencer skills against the Kimogilas. No idea if the Pistoleer helped or not.

I'm a master doctor and master fencer, buffed myself, headed over towards tusken bunker, went to the bottom and killed the king and all six elite guards (no armor) just using CoB. Nothing glorious, but i was suprised (only using a 220 gaffi) and happy to be alive. Was glad when i looted some heavy duty clasps off on of the guards.

That is pretty sweet, just that you were able to be in tusken fort alone much less that you took on 6 to 7 at a time. Now that is a functioning profession. As a amster carbineer or pistoleer, I would have died in that situation.

I just hit Blademaster Tonight, and just worked my way up from the bottom of Fort Tusken, killing everything in there. There was no-one else there, had it all to my self. It was great.

The only thing I have been unable to solo so far with fencer is nightsister elders (100% kinetic and 100% stun makes it a little tough) that I've tried and been unsuccessful. I have not tried soloing a Krayt or Gorax so I don't know, but fencers DPS is a little lower than pike and TK so it'd probably be difficult. Rancors and Kimos are no issue.

Have done little in the way of big game hunting so my best is probably taking down a Force Crystal Hunter (27k HAM) unbuffed and Unarmoured (not that amour would do much good against his force powers) but that was an Old template, not sure how I would fair now, I'm harder to hit but have less self healing ability.

My Template then was Blademaster, Master Brawler, TK 2,3,0,4, Medic 3,0,3,0, Scout 3,0,3,0

Buffed I have cleared Fort Tusken with ease and I reckonI could do ok in the Bunker but have only done it so far with a partner. I could probably clear Fort Tusken without any buffs but food and power boost.

I did get jumped bya couple of Rancors on Dath but they were only the Enraged kind.

What I could do once I drop Master Brawler with the upcoming Warcry nerf I don't know, I doubt I could take that Crystal Hunter without the 20sec delay of Warcry2.

today i took down my first untrained dark side guy, and a force crystal hunter

i was buffed (am a master doc) and had anear on full set of 80% kinetic reist comp on

i'm cyrrently a 0-4-3-3 fencer, so i found this quite fun the crystal hunters were haaaaaard tho :/

Things you can Solo as a Fencer.....keep in mind...being BUFFED is the key...must always have buffs...

I personally am a master doc/master fencer, and I have exceptional buff packs...so I sit at 2k to all stats atleast.

Things I've found easy to solo:

Tusken bunker...full spawn to nothing in less than 10mins (use muon)
Aakuan caves....full spawn to nothing in less than 10mins (use muon)
Juvevnile Krayt Dragons...80% kenetic armor,2 brandy's and kanape...takes some time but can be done
Naboo Base hunting holocrons....you name it I can do it there no armorno worries.

Things I've tanked on but just cant do enough damage to solo:

Acklay...lots of spice food and good armor...
Any other krayt dragon...fully loaded...CoB...food/spice/armor....can last about 15mins...after that I'm dinner.

Basically you can solo alot with fencer...however...you can solo alot more with other professions....fencer alone is a good proffession if all you can take is one combat profession. If you have all your points to spend and are looking for an uber end all beat all profession, your looking in the wrong spot. Go check out TKM for that one =).

On a side note I'd like to add that the key to soloing anything effectively is resources. Your ability to havea wide variety of foods, spices, and very good armor will improve your chances regardless of your profession. If you can regenerate damage faster than they can deal it to you, you will win...it just takes time.

a buffed TKM/Master Pistoleer fought me and i am only master fencer ( i also had buffs) I RAVAGED HIM, as ive said in the past with buffs nothing can beat a master fencer, but without buffs yeah we go down quick cause of our ham costs.

One thing we can't solo but should be able to, is Lord Nyax. He ain't so tough - just 68k - but he shoots for the mind. I had trouble with him as Master fencer/Pistols - got him about halfway down his HAM. then he killed me, twice. I regret to say that as Heavy Swordsman/Carbines, i had no trouble with him.

I am now working my way up the fencer tree. As a former Master pikeman/Carbineer let me just say that our HAM costs are a walk in the park

Anyway... I am only 0-0-1-1 with no medic skills and have managed to solo several Voritors at once. Not the little ones, but the Hexed voritor lizzards. I know they are not that tough, but for a low level fencer with no medic skills I felt pretty tough
