it might not be a bad idea to drop the master fencer to get some of tka defense line x-x-x-2 or 3

lol - No matter what anyone says, Speed capped Master Swords + Master doc is awesome. Max mind with image designer. Eat 2 canape and 2 brandy (relatively long-lasting). Not as much defense as other templates, but can heal very large amounts of damage with little waiting.
Also, I got killed a couple times last night by elders (didn't realize my armor was significantly degraded, thought I just wasn't paying attention). VERY nice to clone in dath science outpost, visit cantina for mind buffs, stand just outside the cantina door so I can watch/listen to entertainer and, at the same time, heal my own wounds and buff myself. Then drive back to stronghold. Total time between dying and arriving back at stronghold = about 10 mins (including the 8 mins for the mind buffs).
But that's one way of doing it - nothing wrong with your templates at all.

this is great for pvp. For pve I would stay out of the pistol tree and put those points into something else(medic or elsewhere)

i started with M-Swordsman planning to build my self into a PvE super tank, but i came to find that wasnt a good idea, but i already had M-Swordsman , i love it and dont wanna drop it so i built my template around it for PvP. i was also juggling between going M-Swordsman , M-Brawler , 0040 Medic and then either (TKM and 0440 Fencer) or (M-Fencer and 4004 TK) but i heard goin pistols is better

i find for PvE, i just plan for the high end, so i don't really get much in the way of defense, but i stack on offense. most of my defense will come from armor, and i have states taken care of because i always hunt with a doc. Most of the high end npcs have so much accuracy that theywill hit you no matter what. I dunno much about PvP, i haven't really investigated that.
