Thread: Tired of Batons I WANT SWORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that now's time to ask devs to include some new fencer weapons for the combat revamp, and please WE HAVE ENOUGH OF BATONS!!!!! i'd like to have a good looking / efficent weapon.
Ok Stunt baton does stun damage and blah blah blah, but it dowen't look like an elite prof weapon!!! Is very sad that the best weapon for my fencer is that rust nasty Gaderffi batton.
What happen with us?why all those new weapon(Scythes,Nigth Sister lance...)for the other melee proffesions and nothing for fencer??

It would be nice to have a Vibro-rapier (AP1, Fencer, possibly an advanced cert, limitedschematicweapon like the DXR6b for Rifleman), or a Vibroblade that *looks* like the sword it's supposed to be.

That'd be a Really Nice Weapon!!!!
And the AP1 is really neccesary in order to engage some of the high level mobs.

As for the title become a Swordsman 
You can use the Ryyk it's a sword
Since i'm a wookiee it's fits me perfectly

ive been playing for a month started the same time as my friend he took poles i took rifle "yeah rifles are cool" after grinding this ranged i got annoyed he could take off a ton more than me and faster though we were the same level so i thought right fencer , grinded fencer for a couple of days asked my guild whats the best fencer weapon??

We can see from Swordsman that they're the guys with the big badass weapons, like the Cleaver, Scythe, and Hammer. Unless they add a Rapier, Fencer probably should be confined to smaller weapons (like the Vibroblade or Stun). Still, the Vibroblade does look a little small compared to what we saw in KoTOR.
If you want to swing around big swords, then be a Swordsman. Fencer's about speed, agility, and poking things to death, and you can't be too fast with a PH. Plus, the Stun Baton is really cool looking in my opinion.

I actually prefer to look of the gaffi stick over the stun baton.
But as you are saying we are supposed to be poking things to death, not chop them in half with huge cleavers, so i say give us a poking fork allready!

i agree with the major change with fencers:
WE ARE THE SWORDSMANS! WE ACTUALLY HAVE SWORDS! WE JUST DON'T USE THEM!
Swords (the melee prof) isn't like what it sounds like. Everyone uses power hammers, and i don't know how slamming sounds swordlike. Yes WE NEED BETTER SWORDS. and batons too i like them

That's too romantic but try to face one of those nasty sith thugs or a tusken wich doctor.... I wish you look with your poking technique, but as long as i tried (and i have 115 on dodge) I usually have to go to the cloning.
For now Fencer is just a secundary profession, because it have really good defences, but in order to be a good elite prof I think it need better weapons.

I agree with you. Most of the time I've had Fencer in a templete, it's been for the defenses. Right now the system's borked, Swordsman and Riflemen are the de facto damage professions. There isn't a real disadvanatge to going with that powerful offense or a real upside to Fencer's (or Pistoleer's) defense. But in terms of actual weapon models, leave the big ones to the Swordsman.
