Thread: fencer needs a new weapon!!

all the elitebrawler proffesions have 2 wepons to use .......but a fencer only has the stun baton.....yea sure they have the gaffi stick also, but thats a brawler certified wepon and i have herd its not very good....
all fencer really seems to be goodfor is PVP.....but now that every server has too many jedi on PVP seems to be dead ( unless its jedi on jedi ) .....meaning fencer is a useless proffesion to most........i think another sort of wepon should be made dealing kinetic or energy damage that is certified at a later stage in the fencer proffesion to make fencer a PVP andPVE proffession
this is probable a wak idea but id like a new fencer wepon 
plz tell me your views

just had a flick thru this fencer forum and realized wepons in fencer are alredy a big issue

I think a fencer weapon that did blast damage (somehow lol) would be cool. This way we could be more efficient in base takedowns which would help us in pve at least a little bit.

yes...i guess giving us wepon that does kinetic damage would be a bit too kind

i say give us an upgrade to the vibro blade : vibro sword -or- Shock/Lightning dmg ( rare loot drop component like akehly<sp?> bones for stun batons..
1 handed version of some axes perhaps ?
-or- my personal fav.... a PLASMA WHIP

There is nothing wrong with the fencer weapons. You can get really good gaffi sticks that works well taking out jedi and for anything else theres batons and you can also have gaffies and knifes with DOTs so theres nothing wrong here...

If they gave the stun baton light piercing then we wouldnt need a new weapon, or give us a weapon type other then kenetic/stun..

i'm fencer and tk.....always using teh same two weapons vk's and stun batons i would really liek to see somethign new for both prof

Maybe a Rapier or a Saber maybe? Something that has pikeman like accurracy (-30 -30 -30) but is decidedly lethal when it hits? I dunna, being a rifleman, I hate all fencers on general principle, but maybe if they give a tidbit to every combat proffesion, they will take the postur up away from flurry/flushing shot. grrrr.....

Behold the Can Opener of Evil +4 (yes, that is the real name that the weaponsmith gave it!)
Base stats after a 24% damage slice are 177-310 damage, 3.3 speed. It's better than many pistols I use! And with a powerup it's 208-310, 3.3 speed. Certainly "very good" in my book - I've seen Acklay Stun Batons with comparable stats (albeit stun damage instead of kinetic, of course)
