Thread: Are Fencers Getting Nerfed at all?

does anyone know if fencers are getting nerfed at all or if theres going to be better armor against stun. i hate to say this but it seems like stun professions is the prefered cheese of the game at the moment and i've yet to see a profession that can stand up against it. ...Stun damage that is. but if its not getting nerfed soon then i will probably use the profession just for PVP

fencer kicks ass but it's not overpowered, other professions need adjustments. they need to stop nerfing and start fixing. i just dropped TKM and as a 0203 fencer i can kill groups of mokks with ease, and i dont have any loot weapons yet
TKM was just faster at taking out the lairs/bases or solo kills

Stun professions are popular because armour has such an overpowering effect on combat (like 90% Comp), making professions that have damage types that these armourare vulnerable to extremely popular. Part of the combat revamp will include armour balances, hopefully this will result in armour no longer being the deciding factor in combat, and if that happens then stun damage will no-longer be so important.

If you wear both a psg and stun armor you can pretty much shrug off a stun baton, even an ackaly one. 70% damage gets reduced by a 35% psg, then another 70% gets reduced by 35% armor. So a 600 damage hit becomes 54, in which case the gaffi stick might do more damage against even 80% kinetic armor. Same with geonosian blasters, after armor and psg they aren't much at all, its the jawa rifles with ap1 (which cuts throughpsg and negates50% reduction from light ap on armor)that you want to worry about

35% and 35% roughly works out too 90% armor with AP0-AR1 penalties, which cuts stun batons down almost to nil, and is the reason why I hardly use mine. Ive got a much better tactic

lol yeah u guys wont be so hot once i get my razor Vk with the 89 130 NS motors in it. and oh eyah i got 4 so i can get a uber set of vks to. tempest webels watch out cause i got some uber tk weaps. and for fencer weaps i aint fencer no more but i camped acklay and got alot of 190-260 bones. i made 5 stun batons and 4 gaffis. my best stun baton is 270-480 something like taht. and gaffi is near same with dmg slices

hmmm in my stun batons i used 200/200 + (dont remember but min and max were both over 200), and with a 31% damage slice none of mine reach even 400, can i see a SS

Fencers will be better at tanking by comparison, after the changes, from what i've read.
