As you see in my signature, I have Fencer/Medic Masters.
Weapon wise, I use a 170 min. 276 max Gaffi stick or 106 min. 166 max. stun baton.
I wear 80/70 full comp armor, 35% protection PSG and 17 def. vs. stun undershirt
I always go out with full 2500 buffs, Mind buff, Dance buffs, 2 x 420 brandy and 3 x 330 ahrisa.
...and I still get my arse handed to me. Any ideas

The last time, I fought with along side a TKM & Master Pike. They breezed through Nightsisterslike it was nothing. I knew I didn't hit as hard but relied on tough defense. I can handle a 'Sister 1 on 1 but not 3. I thought Fencers are supposed to be "tanks"My experience at the Stronghold prooved otherwise.

The trick is to handle 1 on 1 all the time I'm master fencer/swords and even with swords is not wise to try to take on all at the same time, because you are dead man with all those force chokes you receive (300 dmg each) and the sick bleed stacks (over 600 dmg sometimes pass over 1000 dmg).
And remember protectors have medium armor so is going to take you a while with a gaffi to kill it.

Oh...and ALWAYS i keep intimidate2 on them, even if aggroed by more than one i intimidate all high ham ones, but just concentrate on taking one down at a time.

Your problem is trying to take them on with fencer, basically. I've found that I can tank a few of the smaller ones and even an Elder just fine (Tanked elders spamming taunt while my Jedi friend killed it).
However, if you really want to actually take them on, you'd best be a swordsman, or better yet (as long as we're not talking elders), Pikeman. I've played with the sisters as both Fencer and Pikeman, and...well...my Pikeman is the character that I use to actually hunt them.
<Edit> I'll toss this note in there too - if you're going out with full mind buffs (dance and music) and 2x vasarian brandy, you're just wasting Ahrisa. Ahrisa boosts your focus, but once your focus is above 1600, it's high enough...you can spam specials without losing any mind.

Assuming he is a human. If you're anything but, you'll likely need that ahrisa.

Don't wear full armour. Boots, gloves, chestplate and helmet are all you need and you are wasting your substats with anything more. I emphasise the helmet because there's a strong swashbuckling tradition on this forum (of which, I might add, I heartily approve) which advocates fashion as well as finesse. Indeed I can sometimes be found squaring off against Nightsisters in my padded chestplate, boots and gloves or even totally unarmoured. Take it from me that slapping on that ugly comp helmet will save your mind a beating.

There's two types of Nightsister. The ones that have 100% kinetic resist and the ones that have low kinetic resist. Well OK I guess there are three types; add in the ones with AR2 and passable kinetic resist. For the purposes of this discussion, however, you can group those in with the first lot. Since they also have 100% stun resist, leave the baton at home.

Don't forget the synthsteak for when things get bad. I always keep a stack of parwan nutricake for when things get really bad but to be honest if you have a good group backing you up you shouldn't need it.
Anything higher than a Sentinel is going to be a long fight. Before dizzy/lunge was nerfed you could hope to get them on the ground and take the heat off you (maybe even do some damage). Nowadays you're going to find yourself spending a lot of time reapplying intimidate. A Fencer knows his lot in life is to wear his opponent down over a period of time so this isn't too bad. The good news is you can tank all day for a decent group. Just keep all the girls intimidated and taunted and let the Swordsman/Pikeman/Rifleman/Jedi standing behind you do the damage, Doctor and Combat Medic healing health or mind as appropriate.
Against the Elders you have no choice but to tank for the group. You can't damage them so don't even try. Taunt and lunge to get their attention but don't waste time on anything else. Unless of course you also happen to be Master Pikeman and have a Nightsister Energy Lance...
I realise my post is somewhat group-centric. Killed ten Elders and a bunch of other Sisters over the weekend with Fencer/Pikeman (me), TKM, Swordsman/Doc, Rifleman/CM, Rifleman and Jedi. If you want advice on soloing them you'll have to look elsewhere. I pull out my LVA if I'm up against them on my own and while I kill the ones I can kill quicker, I die quicker against the ones I can't, so I don't really have any further advice to offer.

NS Mobs, Those you mention in particular, all have REALLY high kinetic resistances, and 100% to Stun.
You need to invest some money into getting a nice 300-400 max Gaffi, and a WAAAY better bat.
For non-PvP I had a 210-260 stun bat, 331 max Gaffi
For PvP I had a 264-560 Stun bat and a default Gaffi but with a Health Fire Dot of 267 strength.
I don't think it's wise to use the your DOT weapons or your PvP weapons as a means of destroying NS, take a TK or pick up TK in your build to get a bit more out of Kinetic Damage
Sadly Fencer is a Pure PVP Template, but great if you combine it with TK or another Melee profession.

I cant imagine taking out more then one protector or more then one spell weaver as a fencer. For that matter I dont think more then 2 sentinals, rangers or stalkers would be possible. A fencers damage per second is way to low to tank that many high hitters for that long.

Buffed, unarmored, I can manage two NS Rangers... three is one too many. I am a MFencer, MDoc, though, so I can use StimE and heal up a lot of damage rather quickly.
Without armor, I get the full benefit of Vasarian Brandy, Ahrisa, and Canape, which is usually the only reason I don't die quickly. It's a heck of a fight anyway, and I usually come close to dying at least twice.

Using a Nym enhanced vibroblade is so much better than a gaffi stick. You don't take the 50% reduction for AP (or 50% + 50% for medium armor) while still having kinetic available to you. The vibroblade has got to be the most underrated weapon in our inventory.
Intimidate is your best friend. Having it drop right before they pull a special on you really hurts. Attempt to throw in a state or two after a few hits. Its tough to stick them but its worth the effort.
There could be many other reasons you died so fast but we would need more details.

What kind of stats are you looking at on one of these? I always put those in the class of a hunting knife as a waste of time lol
