Idiotically I destroyed my Gaffi stick whilst trying to fix it. I have looked everywhere and cannot seem to find a decent Gaffi, money isn't really an issue, I just can't find anywhere. Anyone give me planet/coords etc for the euro-chimeara server so I can know where to get one? I am nothing without one!

Umm okay first of all open your map (Crtl-V) then look under vendors, then click weapons, BOOM a whole list of vendors with weapons to sell......

I have to say for me the biggest bonus of my gaffi is the lower mind use compared to the stun baton. If i'm only using brandy and no canape for say missions then the baton while it may be faster drains your mind too fast. Besides once you have a decent speed increase in fencer the gaffi stick gets much much faster.

While the stun baton may be good in pvp...the gaffi is more useful in general hunting pve.

Gaffis belong to Tusken.. which i never thought of, to belong to the graceful fencer Profession.....

Looks mor like a swordman slashing weapon to me.. but...

Gotta agree there, on the pure RPG side of things it isn't very graceful and fencerish.

Now you fencers have the right idea.

I posted similar topics in most of the combat profession boards and they dont really get the idea of "discuss".

I don't see why in this day-in age we are using a baton with a sharp point. Star Wars would be like, um, year 3600+ for us to get that advanced? lol. It should be something close to a Light Saber, maybe not exact, but maybe the same concept. Shorter, much much less damage, AP1 and Energy damage. I'm not trying to get us a Jedi weapon to be all cool or w/e, but I mean comon, why are we using such out dated weps when people have lasers...

I'd rather have a sword as our best weapon.

Gaffi's are good for mobs with a higher resist to stun then kinetic or also if the resists are the same because the gaffi is usually better than the stun baton. As for looks and roleplaying I don't reallylike the gaffi because it's rather ugly and it doesn't look right when a fencer wields it. I would also have to agree with everyone else that I would like our best damage weapon to be a sword, not a stick with a nail in it.

Gaffi looks like a plumber's feverish wet dream. i'm not confortable with it. Gaffi and little brother Stunbaton doesnt belong in the fencer certification. morelike Master Brawler weapons i think.

I would give LOTS for a caracteristics swap between gaffi and Ryyk blade.

and AP2 on ryyk too.

unfortunatly the gaffi stick is the norm weapon used because of the max damage potential. I for one like the vibroblade, because of the AP1 rating. Personally i think its a underutilized perk of the weapon.
