Okay, so you have started fencer. You feel rather excited and you should! Why? because i will be honest fencer is the best combat prof in the game. It is 100% awesome, there are no bugs and your combat abilities will be flawless when you hit master.

The fastest way to grind fencer you ask?

Step 1: Get yourself a nice set of 80% kinetic resist comp armor.

Step 2: Find a chef and buy some mind enhancing brandy. You can usually get brandy that does atleast 420+ to all 3 mind stats.

Step 3: Get a crate of muon, the brandy is great but sometimes you might be in a bind and a quick muon pop will save you from the dreaded mind incap.

Step 4: Get your weapons! Buy yourself 3-4 Gaffi Batons, you will want them sliced for speed at the start and later you will need them to be sliced for damage.

Looks like you now have all the ingredients for a fast grind!

Now you ask, where is the best place for the fast grind? I am glad you asked because i shall tell you!

Go to Dantooine, Clone and insure all your items. Find yourself some nice missions, personally i would recommend sitcking with Hurrton, Piket, Thune, or Graul Mauler missions. You can do quenker missions, but some quenkers poison and if you arent a doc you dont need that poison to slow down your killing spree so in most cases i just avoid them all together.

So now you have your missions, head out and kill kill kill! It will be a lot of fun.

When the time comes to train, you should go right up the FOOTWORK tree, you will notice as you go up that tree your speed will significantly increase, the faster you hit the faster you kill. As you kill you will get combat XP learn the Finesse tree as you gain the combat xp. Once you have completed the FOOT WORK Tree i would recommend going up the TECHNIQUES Tree for defences, follow it up with the Stances and Grips tree.

When i mastered fencer i did it like this 1-1-1-1 then 2-2-2-2 etc...but i have decided atleast in my own opinion the best way to do it would be to go:

0-4-0-? (? = doesnt matter just do it when you get the combat xp needed)

Well thats it, if you follow these simple steps you should have no problem getting blademaster in a couple days if you push yourself.

Thanks. I will add to this thread as info changes.

Haha, i love fencer!
i didn't like it at first because i had been a master marksman before, so i didn't like melee combat, but the holo said fencer so i went for it. i now am 0-3-1-2 and ever since i bought my 80%kinetic comp. armor and learned spin2 i have been in love. i went to dantooine picked up some picket missions and haven't stopped since. well... actually i had to take a break to go learn my new skills . remember newbs: buffed, armor, brandy, muon = carnage have fun!

Sometimes it is easy to forget about the easier planets, but when it comes to melee grinding I have found that Naboo is awsome. I have masterd both TK and Fencer here. The magic mission is Bolle Bol's. A big advantige if you can group with a large pets or a AT/ST. This way the number of critters at each mission will increase greatly. It is not unusual to have about 20+ Bols in each lair. each gives 2.5-3 k XP depending on your level . Another big advantige is they dont DB if you manage to get incapped.

Happy hunting

Thats a good point, but if you group your AT-ST or a bunch of pets with you on dantooine, you can get Piket missions some pikets give you 3-5k xp depending on the type, they also do not db except for the Fierce Protectors but not all piket missions have those.

Beware Pikets! I was doing a Quenker mission and I left my speederbike out. I had never had mine attacked while I was running missions, until today. As I was bashing the quenkers, a lone piket wandered towards my speeder, reared back agrily, and destroyed my bike

I just wanted to point that out.

I was grinding missions on dant and i finnaly found a better place on endor when i was just checking it out to meet a friend!! the jinda cave. As long as there arent 2 many ppl there killing all of them, and u get there when no one else is there, u can get TONS of xp here. Just dont go there not being a novice fencer AT LEAST. As u get up the footwork tree they become much easier. My guess is when u clear out the whole cave u get around 250k xp but that might be a little off. But watch out some of those jindas are hard!!

ROCK ON JINDA CAVE !!
