okay, I'm 3-4-0-4 fencer, 4-3-4-0 medic and master rifleman, and today I dueled a friend who is 4-2-3-3 jedi initiate.

he was fully buffed, on mind food, and wearing a full suit of 37% stun composite.

I was unbuffed wearing 75% kinetic ubese.

as expected, I wasted him with my rifle. but when he stood back up, we decided to have a melee duel. now I'm not even master fencer yet, and I was unbuffed. I dominated the fight, it was sad. dizzy2, lunge1 (I'm not master brawler), he tries to stand, he falls. scatter hit spam, he stands up, dizzy2, lunge1, scatter hit spam... I had him KD 4 times before I was finally able to empty his health (and I healed myself many, many times), but I did it. he never really had a chance, I was in control the whole time. his force lightning hurt a bit, and he force KDed me a few times, but with no dizzy I just stood back up and healed.

anybody else duel jedi? when do they stop sucking?

When they come at you with a double bladed saber.

are you impling that I could defeat a knight, or are you just exagerating? I'm serious, I want to know when a jedi gets all the uber power they're supposed to have. I had a lot of fun smoking the jedi, but I don't think I should have been able to.

I had a duel with a Apprentice Jedi, not sure what skill level he was but he didn't have his duel phase saber yet. But I knew he had some of the first tier tree skills. His name is jovian on shadowfire, an rebel jedi. Of course being imp, I challanged him to a duel, no deathblows, give it your all type of fight. I am very honorible in duels an will not cheat nore deathblow out of respect even if I hate the character.

Heck I would of used more, foods if I could, I was only using the bear minium cuase I died overt with food buffs an couldnt use the foods I had for over 30mins an if any. So I was only able to use the dodge food, an spices I had.


Anyhow the battle started out with myself an the jedi, with his five overt rebel friends watching. I lunged2 an used intimation on him very fast. I followed up with dizzy dizzy blind, an he was down for the moment. I hit him with everything I had. Mainly with scatter, an tons of onehanded hit 3 combos. During the fight I noticed thier doctor doing something, an then a flash of light around the jedi. Instantly he got back up an his blind an dizzy effects were gone. as the jedi was down to 65% of his health now he started to attack me. I wasnt sure what he was hitting me with, I was avoiding a mass majority of his attacks, as everyone was stupified by the fact a fencer was hold thier own agasit this jedi. The jedi's boasts about taking out tka's with ease soon faded as he realized he was in trouble.

For about 12 seconds I let him take his specail moves swipes at me out of 15 attacks only 3 landed an not for much thx to the intimidation I landed on him. Again I knocked him down, an proceeded to beat him to a pulp, this time working a bit harder then before. Just as I had him down to 10% of his heatlh, an again he got up all dizzy an blind effects gone off him. As another flash of blue light coverd him. Then with some lucky hit I got a mind hit for 900pts an was knocked incap'd.

We talked for a bit, he said he was worried I was gonna get him an was very surpised a fencer could hold thier own agasit him. When in fact he's easly killed scores of players an I was one of the few to actuly give him the hardest time. I told him even if he was buffed, an I had access to my foods an spices at full use, I would of been able to best him in that duel. He somewhat agreed an commented, "From now on... I am keeping my eye on you fencers your more dangrous then TKA's to me now."


In all it was a good duel, was a shame I couldn't give him my all. Due to the problems with the foods you eat not recycling after deaths properly still.

Jedi can block shots....but not melee attacks. If they could block melee attacks it may be a bit tougher to kill them.

well then if jedis are worried about TKs and fencers..........

I dueld a Jedi once - althought he couldn't have been very high - I needed to die to get new buffs, but was going to give it a shot (I thought I would get owned honestly). He went down easily! I didn't deathblow though, even though he was rebel and I am imp.

another benefit of scatter hit 2 is, when I'm using a stun baton... it's rare to see someone in a full set of anti-stun armor.. usually they get the helmet and the chest plate... but going into a situation where you just don't know what they have... hitting all 3 HAM at once seems logical.
